What buzz does the WWE get out of Brock Lesnar fighting for UFC? Do you really think any UFC fans are going to suddenly start watching wrestling? The demographic that UFC attracts and the demographic that the WWE attracts are completely different. If you're a fan of Brock Lesnar, you've been watching him since he came back to the WWE anyway. Nobody is going to say "hey, I really gotta check out the WWE now" after they see Lesnar fight for the firs time. It just doesn't make sense. Like I/you/others have said, unless Dana said he'll allow the company to use Ronda Rousey at Wrestlemania next year, I can't see any positive the WWE gets from this. And like I said...if Brock Lesnar fights and actually wins at UFC 200, do you really think that'll be the last we hear of it? If he proves to himself that he's still got it and he comes out of the fight OK physically, he's only going to want to get back into the octagon again. Maybe someone sees the Brock fight and says "Man I've gotta see more of that guy", looks him up, and sees he's on WWE, and then gain interest after watching a show with Brock on it? That can easily happen. I highly doubt that would happen. Brock Lesnar has been a marquee names for years. If you've watch ever watched the WWE or UFC, you know who the guy is already.

That can easily happen. Right, Brock is a phenomenon and the publicity that he'll get when he goes to compete for UFC makes him that much more of a commodity. Win or lose there's more eyes on Brock and those same eyes watching Brock in UFC will go back to watch him in wwe. It doesn't hurt their business at all.

"Brock Lesnar remains under contract to WWE, however, he has been granted a one-off opportunity to compete at UFC 200. Following this milestone event on July 9, Brock will return to WWE for SummerSlam on Sunday, August 21, live on WWE Network." ...it seems that not only are WWE letting Brock fight - but they're also happy to promote UFC 200 too. I mean, they could have just said "compete in an MMA contest" - but they not only say UFC 200, but also give the date and say that it's a "milestone event". If Brock were to lose, I don't think it would affect his star-power in WWE at all... everyone knows he's still a legitimate bad-ass. Heck, it wouldn't surprise me if they worked it into an angle or storyline...

Ariel Helwani and his two associates were removed from UFC 199 and banned for life.

At the end of the day it isn't really going to hurt WWE having him there, they may as well do something to keep one of their top talents happy.

The #1 criticism with Brock's fighting style last time around was that he left himself too open to strikes. If he DOES fight Mark Hunt, possibly the best striker in any combat sport today, he could be in big trouble.

WOW really unexpected news. I'll watch his fight no doubt.
I'm not sure this is good for WWE, I mean:
If Brock wins. It would boost his ego/confidence in his ability to fight. Which could result in him wanting to compete more. So he leaves WWE once his contract is up... If Brock loses. It kinda takes away from WWE's propaganda that he's an invincible beast.
Let's see how this plays out...

Lesnar buckles whenever he is hit in the face. I don't think this will do WWE much good at all.

Not going to lie, I had goosebumps when that promo aired. I'm hoping it's just going to be a bit of smart business all around, with a nobody or past has-been being fed to Brock at 200. It could potentially seriously hurt his gimmick should he go to UFC and lose then come back to the WWE, he'd lose his credibility. A one off win in UFC would be good for him though, his gimmick had started to wear off in WWE recently so he could go with being fresh again. Potentially this could open the door for a Rousey WWE fight, or maybe Vince has a hefty cut.
I'd love to see Vince absolutely gamble and send Lesnar into UFC 200 as the WWE World Heavyweight Champion. Imagine what that could do for the Company if their Champion went to the other Company and conquered their sport at their biggest Event.
