I'll say 2. Although I loved 3 when I was a kid. Cowboy's and time machines. You couldn't go wrong.

One.
I watched the trilogy on back to the future day last year fully for the first time, loved the first one but wasn't a fan of some of the gags being repeated 2 more times in the sequels

First one is nearly perfect. 2 & 3 are both pretty good too though.
The only problem I ever had with the franchise was finally brought up on Family Guy...
Such a glaring plot hole that has bothered me for 3o years.

Such a glaring plot hole that has bothered me for 3o years. That is one of my favorite gags they ever did. Now back on topic, the first is in a class all on its own. But I love part two simply because of how Emmet Brown was Obi Wan Kenobi to Marty's Luke Skywalker. You can argue that he was like that in the first, but it was more prevalent in the second. He just had this badassery about him that he didn't have in the first or third film. That, and the part where Doc starts pulling his face off. Sh** creeped me out as a kid but it's hilarious now.

easily the first. second one gets a bit strange and the third one becomes nearly a parody of itself. very similar to the indiana jones series...

It's like Big Bang Theory ruining Raiders all over again!

So when Family Guy brought it up, it was a big "THANK YOU" moment. I mean had he not used the name Marty, then yeah okay, I could suspend my disbelief and say they just didn't remember him. But Marty didn't change his name or even his appearance. Fake glasses and keeping the name Calvin Klein would have been more than enough to fill that plot hole IMO.

The 1st one is one of my favorite movies of all time. I liked part 2 more than 3.
It's a fun trilogy to watch.

When I was a little kid the second was my favorite, the future stuff was cool.
Now it's the first. But I think the second is one of the best sequels ever made. I used to hate the third movie, but I enjoy it more as I have gotten older. It's a good movie. Other than the original Star Wars Trilogy, possibly the best film trilogy of all time in my opinion

To be honest I can't decide. It's been a while since I've seen all 3 even though my parents own the DVD boxset.

I don't know why I never thought about that before, but that is a pretty damned big plot hole.

They're kind of a package deal for me. 1 is my very favorite but I have a tendency to watch all 3 in a row. Loved the cartoon and TT game as well. BTTF is the sh*t.
