Can't believe it's been 30 years since this movie was released. A true favourite of mine; seen it countless times. To me, it's a truly 'timeless' film, and one that made me appreciate all facets of a film even as a kid - the cast, the direction, the setting, etc. Anyone else a fan?

I've seen this once. Not bad, never understood the following behind it but damn I didn't realize how old this was.
More so I didn't realize how freaking old HE is. Man.

One of my favourite films of all time. ^ Ditto. Plus, his Girlfriend in the film is stunningly attractive.

great movie. can't believe there was never a sequel of them taking a day off work...would write itself. have ferris' daughter skipping school, meet up with her dad accidentally who's supposed to be at work, batta boom.

After this movie was released, 4 or 5 different guys in my high school started to dress & try to act like Ferris.
That's why this movie makes me make a "meh" face.

And I was there at that "official" first night game. I still have the t-shirt somewhere. After being at Wrigley countless times before this, I use to ride my bike there and sneak in after the 7th inning, nobody would ever be at the gates watching, it was surreal to see baseball played in the dark.
No better place then Wrigley back then.

My friends tell me I'm not a true Chicago resident because I never liked Ferris Buller. Meh, I'm a Cardinals fan anyways.

I've NEVER seen the film start to finish like many all time classics......I'm bad at that.
But it's one of those movies I've watched MOST of so many times that I almost feel like I have.
Pretty sure it is on Hulu, gotta give it a crack this week. It's only right.

Quite easily one of the greatest movies of all time and my favorite Hughes film. Which is kind of the equivalent of saying it's the very hottest of my favorite hot porn stars. Or something like that...

Excellent film, the shake it up baby scene during the parade is one of the greatest scenes of all time.

Abe Froman Sausage King of The Midwest, Cameron's dad's prized Ferrari, Jeffery Jones, what more can you ask for in a John Hughes movie?
