Roman wins at Battleground, beats Lesnar clean at Summerslam. Rollins moves onto Triple H. Ambrose goes back to mid card obscurity. I have very little doubt at this point. Someone should teach Vince how to do Universe mode in the 2K games if he wants to see that nightmare scenario. Even if Ambrose loses the title at Battleground, he's still owed a rematch. So I'm still not sure where they're going for the Summerslam main event He'll put his rematch clause on the line against Brock, or something. Or he'll get his rematch on Raw, get beat clean, or be cost the match by whatever mid card guy he's gonna feud with. That's his whole schtick, he puts himself in bad situations and then loses. I mean, I really hope this isn't where they're going, but, after years of abusing his audience, I have to prepare for Vince's worst, which is, quite simply, "I don't want the briefcase being tied up in the draft, so let's give it to Dean for a month to make the Internet happy, then pick up where we left off with Roman."

Seth sort of had to win the title for the triple threat to make sense, but they easily could've had him cheat. The clean win, if nothing else, suggests that maybe there's still some consideration being put toward flipping he and Reigns. If they want to put the title back on Roman and turn him heel, then bring it on. That's something I can get totally behind. That's worth spending a Brock loss on, too.

The only reason I could see Rollins getting a clean win over Roman is the fact that the match was Vince's golden boy versus Hunter's golden boy, and maybe this was the compromise they reached. Otherwise, it really does make no sense if it doesn't lead to Reigns turning heel.

Dean Ambrose is the perfect example of how you book someone you want to be a super baby face

Dean Ambrose is the perfect example of how you book someone you want to be a super baby face I agree. It also helps tremendously when your top face can actually cut a great promo. The ending tonight was so Stone Cold-esque, and the crowd loved it. I really hope this continues, but as J12 said, my biggest fear is that Roman will get back the title and Ambrose will be feuding with The Miz or some other waste by SummerSlam.

This really just makes me sick. After tonight I have very little hope Rollins is getting the title anytime soon. They seem determined to stay behind Roman. If this is all we have to look forward too the next ten plus years, I might have to give up watching wrestling.

Anyone think Seth will get back to where he was at SummerSlam last year? He was completely on top. That's where he should be. I just worry he will always be second to Roman.

I mean is there really a reason to despise Reigns anymore. Dude put on some classics with Styles, and now 2 in a row with Seth. Mania vs HHH wasnt bad but the crowd was already so salty by then.
Think he's the next Cena? He's not. He lost clean as hell already to a guy more over than him. Cena wasnt doing a lot of that when he becane, pardon the pun "the guy".
Shoved down our throats? Hardly at all since Mania. 1 or 2 segments per show and Styles and the Club doing most of the work in that feud.
He's the WWE's guy? Is he really though? They obviously felt protecting Seth was more important than Reigns himself. His win loss record is way more balance than people act, especially for being the supposed face of WWE.
Theyre doing a great job proving a large part of the audience are sheep. Theyre almost doing the opposite of what everyone complained about with Roman and people still arent happy.

He beat Roman clean for the WWE championship 48 hours ago. And hes coming off a near 9 month title reign. If anything Reigns is second to Rollins if were watching the same show.

He won a match at Mania that was possibly the worst main event in history, then won two matches single-handedly against Styles and The Club that did nothing but make them look like chumps, and he just suffered the first clean loss of his career. You really have to ask why people hate him? Vince has done nothing but shove Roman Reigns down everyone's throats for the past year and a half. And 24 hours after losing cleanly for the first time, basically nothing changed and he's right back in the main event scene despite the two other guys who are also in it being 100x more over than he is.

One of the better RAWs in recent memory!
I just watched the SC Podcast and they were pretty openly talking about TNA, they even showed damn picture of AJ where you could see the TNA logo! I don't know about you guys but that's a pretty big deal IMO.

Also wanted to say I loved Reigns telling the crowd to shut there mouth after the "you can't wrestle" chant (which is by far the worst chant). So much untapped potential in him as a heel. Hope they run with it soon

Just look at how John cena handles the boos when he's having a tough time cutting a promo, that's how a face does things.

Vince was hung up on Big E.
