I seriously doubt this will hurt his push and personally it wouldn't surprise me if he wins the title back at Battleground.

Still can't believe this. Hopefully it'll teach him a lesson that just because you're on the top doesn't make you immortal.

I don't think it would happen, but it would be stupid to give him the title back any time soon. I'm sure the shareholders should feel confident with someone who just got popped on a wellness violation and suspended as the face of the company. His Diesel calibre title reign must've only helped matters. I hope they leave it on Ambrose for awhile. Turn a negative into a positive. I love Seth, but Ambrose has it, give him a shot. See what he has. Who knows, you could have something similar to Austin, albeit on a smaller scale of course.

Didn't see this but:
Cross the Boss: 60 days suspension
Popped on a Wellness Violation: 30 days.

I'd be interested to find out exactly what it was, because Vince McMahon has stated on multiple occasions that he personally doesn't have a problem if guys do steroids, because it's their body and they're adults. The wellness policy was built to discourage other drug use, steroids were only included as a formality as recommended by the doctors they had putting the policy together. The wellness policy is strictly for PR purposes, and, in this case, Roman took the fall, likely so they could fill a quota and not field too many questions over Cena's most recent miraculous recovery, or Triple H's oversized stature whenever he inevitably comes back.
For Roman's health's sake, I hope that this was just a matter of taking a legal supplement that he was unaware contained a banned substance, rather than something more serious in nature. Who knows.
From a fan perspective, this really puts a huge damper on a match people have been waiting to see for two years now. Not having a third of the match around to build up such an anticipated affair seems like a huge disservice, both to the program and to the audience getting excited about it. They should, without question, pull Roman from the match. But they won't.

Guess this puts to rest all those claiming WWE protects the top guys from the Wellness Program. Because if they did, you could bet they would have protected Reigns here. I don't know about this. Does Triple H seem like he's never on steroids? The Wellness Policy doesn't seem very transparent at all. In other "real" sports, we know what athletes get suspended for. In the WWE, we try to find out but it's all very hazy. Maybe they have soured on Roman because he's been a bust? Maybe he grabbed Vince's arm? Oh wait, that would get him two months. I would trust them a lot more if they would just be open and honest - but since they choose not to be, I can't trust them that much. I'm no expert, so I'm not one to assume I know who is or who isn't on steroids. All I know is that WWE could have kept Roman's suspension quiet, and written him off TV with an fake injury. But the fact they went public, shows that they were "open & honest". IMO it doesn't really matter what he took. None of my business really.

They should, without question, pull Roman from the match. But they won't. To top it off, the two guys who are left to build the match are the two most over guys in the company. So now they're in this awkward space where they appeared to be building Rollins up into a babyface, while leaning towards the Reigns heel turn, but they may have to take a step back for the sake of the feud. On a positive note, we at least know that Ambrose and Rollins have incredible chemistry and have feuds in their past that were amazing. So I have no doubt we'll get great TV between the two, but that's not what this was supposed to be. To your point, we've wanted this feud for months now. We finally get here and it's kind of ruined. I don't know, this kind of throws a wrench into my entire mindset for what was going to happen at SummerSlam. I think we see Reigns turn heel on Dean, Rollins win the title, and then Rollins does something away from the Shield and Dean vs Reigns happens at SummerSlam.

Im not a Reigns hater but I can imagine how stressful it has been for him since he's been carrying the company. And as far as the wellness policy goes I think its complete bullcrap. There was a time when Wrestling was great without it.

There was a time when Wrestling was great without it. Yeah and at that time we had plenty of wrestlers die from drug/health problems. So... I'd rather have a talent miss a month or two than die from a drug overdose. But maybe that's just me?

I seriously have to ask. If it was one of your favourites who was in this current position would you all be ripping them to shreads?
What RVD did in 2006 was worse. After 5 years he finally won the world title and then a few weeks later he gets busted with drugs by the police. Now by doing so he let fans down who had supported him for years and he ruined his only chance of holding the belt.
I don't remember fans hating him for comitting that foolish act.

I hear a lot of people complain about the PG era but I'm personally glad the wrestlers are encouraged to do the right thing for their bodies and future as well as the on screen change to remove the drug, sexual and swearing references. Definately more family orientated now.
