Why is this creep huffing so hard as if he just climbed a
ing mountain?
He probably took off running for her.
As someone who has gotten a lot of autographs over the years (mostly sports) I have always gotten them personalized or in person (or for me from a friend). I don't get the appeal of buying autographs that you weren't there for the experience for, or that you didn't get in person.
Same here. If I dont get it myself...its worthless to me.
What an idiot. It's people like him that ruin it for everybody. I would have no problem signing autographs, if I was famous, but I'd personalise everything. Problem solved.
Personalizations can be erased.
Idk if that's a true price. All different prices for different guys. I was just explaining how it works. As far as booking them? Idk try and talk to them on fb or go through their agent
Its only cheap bc you are buying in bulk. They arent gonna sign 5 pieces for you through a private. In addition, a lot of WWE stars are skeptical of doing privates b/c if caught, they can face harsh penalties through WWE. Their contracts forbid this. Thats why you dont see it advertised.
You will need some sort of referral from a dealer that specific star has dealt with in the past and/or know them or know someone they trust.
What a loser. At least he didn't choke out some kid's dad for an Edge t-shirt. (that we know of)
BWAHAHAHAH!!! Fish stories are great. That shirt still hangs in a shadowbox on my wall, signed by Edge. One of my most prized wrestling possessions. I'd choke the kid's mom and baby sister for that shirt.
"BUT HE MEANT TO THROW IT TO ME!!! I STALKED EDGE ON HIS BUS BEFORE THE SHOW, IT IS MINE!!!"
Well...he did. Dont know what else you want me to say. I was on his shuttle bus, by invite from the man himself. It was him, Nattie, Tyson and David Hart Smith. What a great time. Edge showed Nattie some photos of us from back in the late 90s and some photos I took of him from the indys. Nattie is so sweet too.
Easily my favorite story from WF's history. Not only did he frantically hop onto the same shuttle bus as Edge and left all of his friend behind without a room key, but he scoffed at them when he returned for not warning him about Edge being on the bus. I also love the part where he showed up at their hotel and waited outside for them and tried to hang out with them and didn't understand why Christian was giving him dirty looks. Does anyone happen to have the "ARE YOU RECORDING THIS?!?" video?
Let me clarify some facts for you.
1. There was no "frantic" moment. I missed his flight. Saw him on the bus and hopped on. And I was invited.
2. I did not leave my friend without a room key. What room key? We were at the airport and had not checked in yet. I left him in the airport while I was on the shuttle bus that went around the airport. He was busy getting other wrestlers. He freaked out bc my buddy and I did not tell him we were getting Edge and he wanted to get Edge.
3. Yeah. I was the hotel in Richmond, VA. Christian was annoyed, but I know EXACTLY why. Both he and Edge had their room phones rung and then hung up. Since many fans do this, some have no respect for these guys. You dont call someone's room. Thats wrong. And moreso, you dont hang up on them.
You should really check your facts before you attempt to crap on someone. Just makes you look like a complete and total dope.
Everyone has the right to their opinion. You may not like hitting hotels and airports. Thats fine. To each their own. I much prefer it. I have some great memories and experiences with them. If you are a true fan and not a dealer, 99% of the time these guys are more than welcoming. The reason why Seth Rollins and Sasha shame people on twitter is because, just like this Paige video, they know a good number of people are just selling this stuff. If you watch this Paige video, she was more than happy to sign. Not only that, but she gave the guy like 4 autographs....no questions asked. But the greed took over. Someone is nice enough to stop and sign 4 and thats just not enough. Paige is SUPER sweet. I have never had a bad experience with her. But she knows I am but a fan. I've gotten Rollins a dozen times at the airport. In fact, I just got him a couple of weeks ago. I got my Rollins Standee signed. He knows Im a fan and knows I support him....not just cuz I show up at the airport, but because I buy his merchandise, had conversations with him, etc. I've heard horror stories about Seth too....but its usually from a dealer.
The fact is that signing autos and taking photos with fans is great marketing for these folks. Each of them have merchandising contracts that are very finacially lucrative. The more they sell....the more they make. These contracts can continue to be substantial even after your time in the ring is over. By offering up a moment of your time to a fan can lead to thousands of dollars in their pockets. They know that. Im not saying everyone stops because they believe they can make an extra buck for signing an autograph. Some are just appreciative that someone wants their autograph. Some will tell you how they used to hang out at hotels doing the same thing....so they know what it means to fans today. Ironically, CM Punk as a teenager used to hit up hotels looking for wrestlers after the show. Talk about being hypocritical. Wonder how he would have felt if Austin told him to
off instead of taking that photo with him. Maybe Punk never even becomes a wrestler. Who knows.
I'm not trying to convince anyone of whats acceptable or whats not. You choose to do what you want to do. But I will be doing the same. In addition, I find this thread a little humorous. I see tons of negative comments concerning airports and hotels and getting autos. Fair enough. But then in the Mattel board, there is a fellow poster who posted some figures he got signed and pics from the airport recently. And his thread is full of compliments and cheers. So which is it? Or does it depend on who's posting the story? CHEERS!
