I miss him so much. He's back to super short hair and a short beard which suits him so much better. He just loves wrestling, it's clear in this video and it's so heartbreaking that he can't wrestle in WWE anymore. I wish they could bring him on at least as an on screen character.

I was at the Cruiserweight Classic tapings and he gave a short speech before he went over to the commentary booth. He said that at the time WWE approached him about it he didn't want anything to do with wrestling, which is understandable. Wrestling has been his entire life and he loves it so much that if he can't wrestle anymore he'd prefer not to be associated with WWE at all. Real sad, man.

He is awesome so I'm glad he is at least doing the commentary for the CWC.

sometimes i literally cannot believe that his career ended the way it did
and yes, going with the short hair/beard look is much better for the guy. he's one of the all time greats no matter what. and im at least thankful the WWE did capitalize on his popularity because he clearly deserved it

Could you imagine a CWC 10 years ago with a guy like him in a spot Gargano is in?

OP is misinformed. There's someone far more passionate.

I love Daniel Bryan.
I've idolised him for years now, because he embodies everything that a professional wrestler should be; he gives his all every time he's out there, he loves his fan base, and, most importantly, he is the most passionate man to ever step foot in a WWE ring. It's clear that he loves wrestling more than anything else which makes his career ending injury all the more painful.

Just happy to have him back in the fold. The CWC is a great place for him to get his feet wet.

i'd say vince mcmahon is probably the most passionate man for wrestling. literally his entire life has essentially been in the business, other than some rough years with his mother in his childhood.
as for daniel, i share the sentiments of everyone else posting in this thread. bitter sweet.

Wrestling has been one of the biggest parts of my life since before I could walk, and only one time have I cried because of wrestling. The heartbreak on Daniel Bryan's face during his retirement speech, especially when talking about his dad made me cry like a baby. I was teary eyed to start with but that broke me. Also, when he talked about how he was going to miss diving through the ropes, and how that made him feel like a super hero, I was broken.

I'm super excited Daniel Bryan and Mauro are doing commentary for the CWC. Michael Cole and Byron Saxton are insufferable.

The fact that Mike Tenay isn't calling any matches at the CWC is just criminal!

And how he motioned the dive and stuck his body through. That's the part I always think of.

He reminds me of Jay Lethal. He gets the same excitement and happy expressions talkin about wrestling. You can tell that wrestling is their life

Still havent fully gotten back into the product since he left. He was the most organic rise to the top superstar since Stone Cold/Rock. Now we are back to the same old shove people down our throats routine again. Back to the whole manufactured superstars shtick.

So... it is fact Daniel Bryan is the most passionate man in wrestling/ever to step foot in a WWE ring?
I highly doubt it.
