Either all-black 2x Slammy Winner or all-pink King of Harts and a Nation Danger Owen if there's ever gonna be a second.
But there won't ever be a first, so Owen is forever white-washed from my WWF classic era playtimes. Just like Benoit. The Radicalz are literally just the tag team of Eddie and Malenko.

Nice? Can you really see a toy company making figures of murderers? It'd be an utter outrage if they ever made a Benoit. We're allowed to discuss this piece of sh#t but not a certain figure from Elite series 1? Something is not right there They made Snuka. Oh, I wasn't aware Snuka had been convicted of anything before his figure was made

I hate these threads for the sheer fact that they make pro-wrestling fans look like a**holes. She is refusing to allow the business that killed her husband to make a single dollar off his name/likeness/whatever. She has that right and for y'all to constantly want to s*** on her for that makes you look petty. It's an action figure. She is living without her husband and father of her children. You'll be ing fine. THIS. Guys, I know we'd all love an Owen figure. He's one of my favorite workers of all-time. But come on. Martha lost her husband -- again, her HUSBAND -- and she has every right to not want to cooperate or associate or do anything with the company that killed her husband. Some things are a bit more important than action figures. If things somehow change in time, great. But I really cringe reading some of the posts in this thread. But she is being disrespectful towards his legacy. Wrestling was Owen's life and if he's looking down now he would be devastated to see that his legacy is being ignored. The Hart family were Owen's brothers who he grew up with so if they can forgive the WWE then why not Martha? Owen died in a horrible way but he wouldn't want his career being wiped from existance.

Here's a question I pose to all of you...
Let's say you had a wife. And she happened to be an actress who also did her own stunts. And let's say she was tragically killed doing a stunt for a movie. Would you still want that movie released and for the people who wrote the stunt to make money off it?
I already know the argument to that analogy. People would still be able to buy her past movies at least. But we can also buy older versions of Owen Hart figures. Mattel would be making something new. Would you want your deceased, stuntwoman wife immortalized by merchandise made from the same company that made the movie that caused her death?
Keep in mind... There is no right answer to that question per se. It just depends on how you look at it. You can make the argument that it is for the fans and to honor good memories. But I totally understand her logic as well. If she connects anything WWE related (including merchandise) to his death, then it is what it is.
Maybe her kids will change her mind. Maybe she'll just have a change of heart on her own. Time has that way with people. And then (not to sound morbid), when she passes away one day, and the next of kin is in charge of that decision, we'll probably see a new Owen figure. Of course, Mattel probably won't have the license at that point. Sheeeaaat, WWE may not even be around at that point with the way they're booked nowadays.
Who knows...

Can we lock this now?
Why isn't there a strict rule about these kind of topics including Owen, Beniot, etc.
Jeff Hardy figure: CAN'T post or talk about
Prototypes: CAN'T post or talk about
Owen, Beniot, death and murder: free-for-all
Makes ZERO sense to me. Just look at some of these comments. Have some respect for the athletes and/or their families which were affected.
Childish, lack of respect and understanding of a situation. Just for what? A FIGURE??? Give me a break

That was the same defense Snuka just used to be deemed unfit for trial. All things being equal, Benoit would have been found unfit also. They should be regarded in the same light. And for the record, you were the 1st to mention murderers, on page 1. Now we can lock this.

As for the "dementia sufferers don't generally murder people so no comparisons can be drawn" that actually may make sense. Rather if Snuka did kill that woman 30 something years ago or not, I may doubt he had dementia back then anyway. As for Benoit, if his brain was "that of an 80 yr old with dementia" which his brain may have been like that, but why should that excuse what he did? Who knows, he could have killed himself after realizing what he did to his wife and son. Don't try to play some mental illness card to excuse and/or justify murder and/or suicide.

why does everyone jump on the "lock" bandwagon just because a thread goes towards a subject YOU don't find entertaining no one is forcing anyone to click on thread links OR read comments
as soon as anyone starts to disagree about something the lock police come chiming in. if the mod or admins feel a thread is getting out of hand it's up to them to decide

What I don't get is how people are thinking Martha is disrespecting Owen's legacy or his fans by not signing a merchandising deal. You don't need a toy to remember Owen. Not having an action figure sitting on your shelf does nothing to tarnish what he accomplished as a wrestler. Him not being in a joke of a hall of fame does not take away from what we already remember and love about him. And she has kept his name alive with the Owen Hart Foundation.

Mattel can't make an Owen figure. Why is this a thread? Never mind the arguing, this should've been locked long ago anyways
