I just hope they limit the production on these latest DMs so they don't reach clearance prices. I'd prefer Premium figures remain at premium prices. they should limit them as they do with the Ringside Exclusives, maybe a slightly higher number. MattelDesignTeam , don't make so many, then retail stores won't be forced to sell them at heavily discounted prices. Reducing production numbers would result in either higher prices or less detail/accessories for the same price. So that may well be what has happened with the line lately.

What the crap Mattel, yes that's a cool Cena figure, if it has his boots (not shoes) as thuganomics John Cena, but the newer Cena knee molds are superior. And oh yea WE DONT NEED ANOTHER JOHN CENA DEFINING MOMENTS FIGURE! we don't need to was a spot on him twice, warrior twice or atleast UM Warrior, like the only people who I think are except able to do that with would be sting, Shawn Michaels and Razor, if you had to make another of one person, completely wasted on the DM line. When it would've been better and sold more as a loosely named flashback figure.

Like I said earlier I'll just buy it on Zbay for like $15 a few months after its been released. Don't get why everyone's getting bent out of shape I think because this line used to be something to look forward to, the figures were better than the stuff we saw in the normal lines, each release was a chance to get something special...and now it isn't.

Yeah it's the reason I am a little let down. The first couple sets of this line were amazing. Warrior with coat, macho man with his coat and first time release. Then you had a nice Bret with jacket and flag, Ricky dragon who was pretty cool for the attire he had at the time, sting with trench coat and then since NWO hogan was cancelled seems like just another line of elites. Razor was nothing to thrilling, GAB sting was a or should of been a normal elite, then you have this which is nothing but a normal elite. It's disappointing and people wonder why the line is the way it is. How can Mattel justify making that elite Umaga and then Making this Cena at a higher price point?

Probably the same reason Finn Balor goes for $35 on the secondary market. John Cena sells, especially in Elite form. If they can charge an extra $5 for it and ensure it is always available on the shelf for whoever wants it, why not? Who else could they ship solid cases of? Admit it, if this was just a regular Flashback everyone would be complaining that it was a wasted spot that should have went to any other Flashback. Im just going to accept this one isnt for me and move on.

Lower production because Taker is warming hardcore That's Bc if was a rerelease. Same with Bossman. Yeah the secondary market was a high price on these but it might of been like 1,000 people looking for 100 of them available instead now they release it again that 1,000 people have 10,000 to choose from. It's a crapty move but I see why they do it

It was to make a more detailed figure with more detailed accessories. That's why people are fed up. Because Mattel knows it'll be a hot seller they should cheap out and make it a regular elite and charge 5$ extra? Pretty crapty if you ask me

The more I look at it the more I like it but it needs a chain and something other than just 54 on the front. I like the packaging and the scan looks great to me.
If it comes with more it's a legit possibility I might get a John Cena figure at full price. Have one I bought on sale. Really hoping the final product is better

This would make more sense as a Network Spotlight then a DM. To me DMs were always highly decoed and with more then a regular elite which would justify the higher price, now they just get the figs they think people will spend the extra for.

Ive been collecting long enough to know that every year the price goes up and the quality goes down, and DM is obviously the latest victim of that phenomenon. I'm not going to agonize over it. They pump out so much stuff I do want that I'm actually happy to see stuff I dont. Saves me money.

People got so much with the DM line in the past and now it's getting less and less and look how unhappy people are. I wouldn't say it's exactly good

I wouldn't say it's exactly good Because Cena is the biggest name in the company, and if there are nothing but Bray Wyatts and this Cena for $25 on the shelf, the Cena will sell first. The jump from $20 to $25 is not as big as the $10 to $20 jump you make buying Elites over basics.

I think it looks great but should be in the Network Spotlight line 100% this Also, though an awful DM choice, should it not come with his chain?

I would prefer the lock but they could just reuse the chaingang necklace from the first DM
