This may be the worst story ever. Doesn't want to be judged by a "hot" cashier yet judges another cashier he deems "ugly" and therefore gains the courage to buy a wrestling figure. Maybe you should stick to RSC online purchases and not leave your basement/closet. Shameful Your avatar is underrated. kudos!

Who cares if it's a hot girl or not? Id take it up to the hottest cashier in the world and not sweat it one bit. Be comfortable with yourself. Don't hide your hobbies.

I consider my wife to be the hottest women on the planet and she fully supports my hobby. Hell if she's at Walmart of wherever and I'm not with her she'll go out of her way to figure hunt for me. Sends me pictures of everything they have and I'll ask her to pick up something if there's anything good.

lol what an epic fail. I mean what was she really going to say? Make fun of you? If she was a stuck up bitch all you had to do was say i'm sure with that attitude you prob a few toys yourself if you know what i mean and walk off.

Just give the "buying it for my cousin/little brother" or something else excuse. I don't think anyone has ever asked who i am buying something for when shopping.

I'm gonna let you in on a big secret: there are women that like wrestling, and there are women that collect wrestling figures, such as Trish Stratus

If you're that embarrassed by the hobby just say it's for your nephew. Problem solved.

Arguably the worst story ever. Once you get older, who cashes you out for toys will be the least of your worries.

Stand up for what you believe in man. The hot cashier should be the least of your worries.
A few weeks ago I had pulled up the original Shawn Michaels thread on my phone from this forum, showed the chick working there and asked if she knew about the display or if it was in the back. She was pretty hot but it didn't cross my mind to back away from her and asking.

At its core, this is a "story" about finding a figure. So....
FIGURE FINDINGS BOARD! You MUST put this there! What, nobody is gonna jump down his throat just because it's more fun to mock him for not buying the figure from a hot chick?

The responses in this thread! Lol!
At any rate it's 2016. People are still concerned about this?
Sigh. Girls really don't care if you collect figures. Be yourself. Own it and be confident. That simple.

One of the funniest encounters I had was buying the Sunny LOD classics. The cashier at KB was a larger sized African American woman (not trying to be insensitive, just describing). She looks at Sunny and says something like, "I got an outfit like this at home." I thought it was pretty funny. If they do comment about a wrestler, it's actually always been positive. They might remember him from back in the day or they might mention a recent or upcoming ppv, etc, etc.

I kinda feel for the guy tbh.
Hasn't anyone at some point in their life been intimidated by someone they think is attractive?
It's easy to sit behind a screen and say that what people think of your hobby doesn't make or break your decision to buy a figure. And while I certainly believe that's true for a lot of you (myself included), that doesn't mean that sh** happens and sometimes our knee-jerk reaction is to take flight lol.
