Glad someone tagged Bill because he needs to see how some of his work really looks and how unacceptable it is. I cringed when I saw this picture

You know when you leave something outside for along period of time - it has the Sun shinning on it, and it bleaches out the colour, and then you have the rain that makes it dirty.
Thats what this figure looks like.

Looks like EVERY e41 Ryback I have encountered so far. I must have seen this figure close to 30 times and I had to pass on him each time. It's a shame as I would like to own him.

I really hope that Mattel improve their quality control. It's getting worse lately. I lived overseas and most of my purchases is online. Imagine the frustration when you receive your items with a lot of quality issues considering the expensive shipping cost. Even in retail, the stock here is just like 1 case per store. The Elite Finn Balor for example had the bad quality paint. I've searched for about 4 toy stores and all of them had bad paint apps. I'm not picky but I don't buy worse crap that is so expensive. Elite srp here is about 43$ if converted. So if you guys are pissed so we are very pissed.

This has been going on for a while; the last Elite Swagger I got had black paint marks under the head where the neck was. I don't know what it is about the black paint, but it comes off so easily and it's annoying, the other paint doesn't come off as badly but it's always the black.

My E43 Kevin Owens has some kind of glue all over his right foot, and some of the silver missing from the K on his shirt. I mean, if Mattel has QC - why do things (frequently) make it to the shelves in that state?

good thing i have zero interest in a ryback figure ...the thing is though, it seems to be the new "standard" for Elite wrestlers in a singlet (eg. Anvil and Bret). And as someone mentioned - if we did ever get figures like Angle, Owen, or The Steiners... and they had this treatment? Not good. Not good at all. very true, hopefully it is different by angle.

I mean, if Mattel has QC - why do things (frequently) make it to the shelves in that state? How qc works.. Usually a sample of a product is brought in front of the factory supervisors and higher uos at the company to give their approval. Then samples of the figures and packaging are tested for safety and durabilty guidelines, among other things. Its unlikely that every figure is inspected by line workers, especially the way collectors look over figures. Things get passed by and the factory workers may not think its an issue. Bill gives the answer he gives on qc issues, because he works for the biggest toy company in the world. They have been in the news for qc issues, (regarding safety) in the past. Im sure all mattel employees have to legally answer the questions as instructed.

I didn't think they inspected every single one - my point's just that the QC issues seem to be growing with recent sets. To be honest, as long as their joints work for filming, I can live with it.

I just opened my Heenan set and realized they did Perfect's torso in orange. Compared it to Legends 3 perfect - it's cast in flesh tone. Looks very noticeable side-by-side, though to their credit they did correct the height issue L3 had.
They really have to stop this. It can't possibly be THAT much cheaper in this case when a good chunk of the torso is the flesh color anyway. Especially with Perfect's attire where the black triangle on the back takes up almost all the back deco. I honestly think there's more flesh color on his torso than orange/black, so it doesn't make much sense.
