That's just a bulls*** cop out. This is the same company that fired Billy Gunn - who wasn't an active talent - for pissing dirty following a non-WWE event. He's a contracted WWE talent thus should be treated as such. Inactive, active, last month, last week, etc. doesn't matter. I agree with this. However, just Joe Rogan said to Brendan Schuab on his podcast when Brendan questioned as to why Lesnar wasn't required to get tested 4 months before competing, Rogan said that Lesnar was made an exception because of his drawing power, WWE might be using this "exception" to effect. Is it fair? No it's not, but since Brock Lesnar draws, he gets away with certain things. Not true. He got the exemption because of a loop hole in the UFC/USADA policy. Like GSP, Lesnar retired before UFC used USADA testing. Thus, he was being treated like a "new fighter" and not a returning fighter.

They could save face, him him with 30 days, let Heyman do all the hyping, & Brock is still back in time for Summerslam. But that's not a punishment. Roman Reigns was publicly shamed and had to apologise to the entire locker room. Lesnar doesn't deserve a free pass and should somehow be punished. Then make him apologize. Say whatever you want about him on TV. Reigns got hit with 30 days & isn't losing his main event spot on the PPV. Might as well do the same thing with Brock.

Brock could be banned from competing in New York. For pro-wrestling.

I just laugh at how WWE is so quick to point out that they've had nothing to do with him since Wrestlemania and won't be working with him again until Summerslam.
You hyped his fight and put him on the cover of your video game. You can't try to distance yourself now.

If Brock is clean right now, and WWE tests him and it comes back negative, than you know WWE will say, "he is fine, he came out clean, he will be wrestling at SummerSlam." That will be their loophole.
But look back at Brock's matches from April 2012 till now. He got bigger and more defined each match he was in. There is no way the guy wasn't on steroids.
Look at The Rock at Wrestlemania 29 vs. John Cena. Didn't Rock like pull two or three muscles on him because of how big he was?? Clearly that's steroids.

Obviously guys are on steroids in WWE. Seriously you can't get me to believe someone the size of Brock or Rock isn't on the juice. I'd say somewhere from Cena to Cesaro is as big as you can possibly get and be clean. Guys like Ryback, Big E, Brock and Rock are all juicing. Can't tell me otherwise.

I'm just as big as Brock and I don't juice. Then again i don't wrestle and tear my body down on a nightly basis so my body has plenty of time to recover. I get plenty of sleep and I eat healthy. I don't think a life on the road is healthy and doesn't promote proper muscle growth so yeah I'm sure short cuts are taken.

You think they would let someone like Big E slide on drug tests but not Roman Reigns? Please.

I also never understood why steroids in wrestling was a bad thing.
Everyone knows that wrestling is fake. And I think everyone here knows what I mean by that. It's not like Lesnar vs. Orton is a real match, and each man is trying to overcome the other to win. They know who is gonna win and lose. So who cares?!?!
Steroids helps heal athletes faster, and in a sport where everything is predetermined, I figure it shouldn't matter if you use a decent amount of them to maintain the physical attributes you need in the world of sports entertainment.

Because Vince as forced by the government to admit wrestling is fake and he nearly went to prison over it. He may have won but he's stop scared by it.

Sticking your ass full of needles just to look big isn't healthy. Steroids in small doses can help athletes heal of course but you aren't supposed to just prick your ass daily and lift like a maniac. It will kill you. Too many of these "fake wrestlers" have died from this crap. Fake sport or not its just not something that should be condoned.

Why do people care what other choose to put in their bodies? When it comes to a business that has banned drug use and you work for that business and take drugs then the higher ups have every right to care because it comes back to bite them in the ass. There is also a thing called caring for the well being of your employees.

Yeah but why do YOU care what some guy in the gym who's not a UFC Fighter does? Never said I cared about what some chump in my gym did. I don't care what Brock possibly did and I don't care what Roman did but if I was Dana or Vince I would damn sure care.

Lesnar needs to be punished but how is it possible? Suspending him is pointless because he sits at home most of the year so what else can they do? Have him put someone over. Make him put the winner of the CWC over. Clean.

via PWInsider Here's WWE's statement - “Brock Lesnar has not performed for WWE since WrestleMania and is not scheduled to return until Sunday, August 21.” Was Billy Gunn's case different then? I think the reasoning they gave for giving Billy Gunn the dick was because he was supposed to be a role model for the developmental talent.
