I think everyone will agree the Jaden Smith one, is pretty superior.

Was anyone aware that there was a Karate Kid cartoon? I just stumbled upon it the other day.

Best montage EVER!! Forget Johnny, Dutch was the real bastard. His dad (Steve McQueen) taught him well. Was anyone aware that there was a Karate Kid cartoon? I just stumbled upon it the other day. I just looked it up and found this... I don't remember it, but I know I would have watched it.

Cameron, you wrote what I was going to say. Another little point...with the remake I felt the kid was in REAL danger of really getting hurt bad. I didn´t feel that with the original. In fact Johnny even says if Daniel had not done the halloween prank with the hose it would have been left alone. Danny takes ole Johnny out for a pizza and all would be forgiven. Not so with the oriental villain. He was mean and nasty.

I refuse to watch the remake for several reasons.
1 Jayden Smith 2 It's Kung foo in that movie not Karate, so how can they legally call it Karate Kid? Do they think the public is just that dumb that we wouldnt notice? 3 Jayden Smith

I love the first two - a big part of my childhood. I actually prefer the sequel, if I had to choose - I watched it way more than the first one.
I've only seen a bit of the reboot.

My favorite running gag in How I Met Your Mother is how Barney has always believed that Cobra Kai were the heroes/ good guys in the movie. First is the best. Well if you go back and watch the first one, Danny is kind of a dick and the real bully of the piece. Same thing goes for "Revenge of the Nerds". The nerds were the bullies. Robert Carradine raped the main chick in the end and illegally video taped the sorority house.

Haven't seen many of these films tbh, all I remember is watching one this time last year & seeing that night club scene with the main kid busting some gangsta's nose for trying to diss his fly girl with the band that sang "High Wire" playing in the background, then that shady mentor of his running out with the kid like as if they just robbed a bank..
I thought it was pretty funny, come to think of it, I haven't really seen much of the Back To The Future series either, another popular film series that's adored by millions, coincidentally I was watching one of their films this time last year aswell, must of been a nostalgiac marathon running on tv or something?

Love the first 2. 3 was ok. I had the gi, bandana, had the action figure, watched the cartoon, ate the cereal, had the video game (still can't beat the storm level) joined Karate. So yeah, you might say I liked them. Lol.
