They posted a video and new logo today on their Facebook page with Welcome To The Black Parade playing and the date of 9.23.16 at the end. It's been rumored for a while that they were getting back together and I'm getting excited. I hope there will be a new album and not just tour dates.

It's one month before the 10th anniversary of The Black Parade album.
I'm hoping it's more than just a collector's release.

I was in high school, but then they released the black parade. Not a fan of anything since then.

**looks at autographed Three Cheers poster**
Nope.
The band fell to pieces after Danger Days' tour. Gerard has said in interviews unless Mikey committed to coming back on that anything he, Frank and Ray did wouldn't truly be MCR. Fingers crossed.

I'm not sure if they answer twitter or facebook messages, but ask them who their favorite band was when they used to go to the Pipeline in Newark. I bet dollars to doughnuts, Gerard will say The Murdered.

I'm guessing, at the very least, it's a ten year tour for The Black Parade, which is good enough for me.
I wouldn't at all be opposed to new music, though.
EDIT:
Welp, there goes that. No reunion or tour. Just an anniversary release.

I love them and when I saw the video pop up on my Facebook feed, I jumped with joy. I was hoping for a some sort of a reunion, but my gut told me it was gonna be an anniversary release or something along the lines of the Black Parade. Shame.

My soul was crushed when it was just an anniversary. It made me realize two things. One, I'm old. And two, they're never gonna get back together.

I never really heard any of their songs. But I just checked out the info for The Black Parade which was produced by Rob Cavallo who worked with Bonnie McKee on her debut album Trouble. Freaky
