Sorry but I don't see solid cases of Bailey or any female figure selling well in a boys driven toy line that is why divas are short packed. Because once the collector get theirs who buys them? Unless they are collectors themselves most parents (father's) arent going to buy their son a girl figure. That is just the way it is. I see it being like Mickie James all over when they packed her 2 per case like everyone else. My TRU had nothing but 50+ Mickie James on the pegs for almost an entire year. The Renee Young my TRU has had 6 for over a month until a friend purchased one a few weeks ago. Now they had 4 the last time I was there. I just don't see solid cases selling. She should be a regular Elites like Sasha. She was packed one per case and wasn't that hard to find. I saw at least 10. Not including the WalMart end cap displays. And that was a $10 figure. This will be solid cases of a $20 figure. I have a four year old SON and he gets just as excited for Bayley (and the upcoming Asuka protos shown) as he does for Finn Balor and Samoa Joe. Times have changed, man. There are no longer "girls toys" and "boys toys". Kids play with what they want to these days and I feel the colors of both Bayley and Asuka will appeal to the wee ones. Again you are a collector we think differently than non-collector parents. I let my daughter play with whatever toys she liked, but I know plenty of parents who aren't collectors who don't/didn't want their sons playing with girl characters. So they couldn't get Wonder Woman, Hawkgirl, Supergirl, Princess Leia, etc no matter how much they wanted them. Their parents wouldn't/won't buy it. Yet they do/did allow their daughters to play with action figures. Times haven't really changed. I still see plenty of parents say no to their kids about toys they feel aren't gender appropriate toys.

Confused as to why Bill had to use rubber for DM Stings coat streamers, but can use material for this and Rocky Maivia ?

Its a cool figure and I like most here will buy it but I think it will warm as well. I think it has to do with ANY figure that makes up a whole case. It is going to take longer to sell a figure that has 8 - 10 of the same figure going on a peg all at once. All of the DMs were easy to find and I still see Hogans, Razors, and Stings on shelves. Macho Mans DM sat forever. The Network spotlight figs have also sat for awhile. Its not that they wont sell but there isnt enough interest for them to sell out overnight. Maybe packing 2 spotlight figures at once will help move them more quickly as you are more apt to buy 2 different figures that come out then 2 of the same.

Head looks awful. Mattel has a hard time with expressions. Thats why they should pretty much avoid them. They seem to be ok with smirks and anger, but the rest never come out well IMO. The scan for this expression was shown happening in a Episode of Breaking ground last year I'm pretty sure. Looks good to me.

There are enough grown men and little girls to ensure that this figure will move as well as the other Network figures. Little Johnny may not be begging mom/dad for a Bayley figure, but he sure as s**t isn't begging them for a Ringmaster or Bossman either.

As someone who has seen maybe a dozen diva figures in my area over the years.. Yeah, I'm glad this is going to be heavily packed. I never saw the basic Bayley at retail
She'll definitely sell better than the other 4 so far since I can walk into my TRU right now and still buy all of them. I could get a dozen Bossmans if I was so inclined, and at least 6 HHH's

Yep, unless it is one of top, current names; it is a hard sell to kids. Flashbacks appeal to collectors not children. There is a reason why pegs are filled with JYD, Sid, 4 Horsemen, and Godfather. Even someone like Daniel Bryan is not over with the kids like you had thought.

Confused as to why Bill had to use rubber for DM Stings coat streamers, but can use material for this and Rocky Maivia ? IIRC, Bill had said those are too small and thin for then to be able to be made properly.

This is all reminding me that Bill didn't even bring or show Network Spotlight Ringmaster. Is that thing already out of production...?

Is it fair to say that Bayley is far more respectable to parents familiar with the product than pretty much any other women they have made? Mickie was a psychopathic lesbian who would eventually be fat shamed out of the WWE.

It doesn't matter that she is more recognizable than other divas the fact of the matter is most (not all) but most non-collector parents aren't going to buy their sons a girl character. It has always been that way and it hasn't changed. Just recently I have seen a family in the Barbie aisle where the mother was getting her daughter a Barbie and the son was wanting either of the BvS Batman or Superman Barbie dolls and the mother said "No they are Barbie dolls and you know your father said you can't get those let's go see what they have in the Superhero aisle" Confused as to why Bill had to use rubber for DM Stings coat streamers, but can use material for this and Rocky Maivia ? Judging by the angle they are hanging on Bailey they are plastic, but the ones on Macho Man's DM and the Rocky Maivia are a lot thicker than what was needed for Sting's jacket plus Sting's also had smaller ones on the shoulders that could only be done molded to the jacket so it didn't look big and bulky.

I went to the NXT tour in the UK and saw as many little boys in Bayley shirts as girls so if there buy a girls t shirt there buy a girl figure. Fair enough some parents still stick to those outdated stereotypes but I can't say most in England do, not from my experiences anyway. Most kids who watch wrestling would watch with there parents, or the parents would Atleast be aware of the wrestlers there kids are watching. Bayley is definitely a likeable character so it does make a difference for me, she doesnt look like a model with hardly any clothes on, she looks like a wrestler and a fun nice loveable girl.... Don't downplay the popularity of Bayley amongst all kid fans. She isn't just more recognisable, people LOVE Her.

I am not saying she isn't popular or liked by kids and adults I am saying I don't see many parents buying their sons a female figure/doll unless the parents are a collector themselves. Most non-collecting parents will look at it with the "My son is not playing with dolls" mentally.
Also for those saying people aren't buying the others I am at my local TRU stores enough to see that Bossman hasn't sold but I have seen Triple H, HBK and Austin restocked multiple times. Where the shelves went from two pegs of each down to none. And then a week later back up to a peg or two then down again. The only one I haven't seen the stock change on is Bossman and I honestly feel that after the first case Bailey sales will have dried up unless there is a costomizor in the area that would buy multiples for alternate attires.

In my TRU there are no Shawns. Plenty of Bossmans HHH and Ringmaster.

I think Network Spotlight would benefit from being released as a series of 4 rather than cases of 1 figure like the Wal Mart exclusive sets.
I do not collect many Divas, but I think this one will be added to my collection along with upcoming Sasha Banks!

What do you mean Most non collector parents ? Haha I'm confident the majority of parents whose kids collect WWE figures don't collect figures themselves. Only a small percent would have 'collector parents'. But I would say the majority watch with there kids or know about the wrestlers there kids watch, and therefore would be more inclined to get them a Bayley figure based on her character. I don't buy that 'most' parents have that attitude these days, maybe a few but not from what I've seen anyway, the fact bayley and Sasha figures went so quick surely backs that up
