There are enough grown men and little girls to ensure that this figure will move as well as the other Network figures. Little Johnny may not be begging mom/dad for a Bayley figure, but he sure as s**t isn't begging them for a Ringmaster or Bossman either. True. Network Spotlight figures are collector-driven. Any figure in this spot will sit on shelves just like all of the other Network Spotlights. This isn't a case of a child wanting or not wanting a Bayley or a parent buying their son a figure of a girl.

I am not saying she isn't popular or liked by kids and adults I am saying I don't see many parents buying their sons a female figure/doll unless the parents are a collector themselves. Most non-collecting parents will look at it with the "My son is not playing with dolls" mentally. Also for those saying people aren't buying the others I am at my local TRU stores enough to see that Bossman hasn't sold but I have seen Triple H, HBK and Austin restocked multiple times. Where the shelves went from two pegs of each down to none. And then a week later back up to a peg or two then down again. The only one I haven't seen the stock change on is Bossman and I honestly feel that after the first case Bailey sales will have dried up unless there is a costomizor in the area that would buy multiples for alternate attires. What do you mean Most non collector parents ? Haha I'm confident the majority of parents whose kids collect WWE figures don't collect figures themselves. Only a small percent would have 'collector parents'. But I would say the majority watch with there kids or know about the wrestlers there kids watch, and therefore would be more inclined to get them a Bayley figure based on her character. I don't buy that 'most' parents have that attitude these days, maybe a few but not from what I've seen anyway, the fact bayley and Sasha figures went so quick surely backs that up What I mean is we are parents who are collectors and see no problem with our sons playing with Wonder Woman, Hawkgirl, Supergirl, Princess Leia, Bailey etc. Or our daughter's playing with Batman, Superman, Luke, Han, Triple H etc. But most parents don't collect figures and don't share the same mentally as us. The past Bailey and Sasha figures were packed one per case so and they weren't hard to find either. I passed on at least 10 Bailey figures not including the Walmart end caps. I picked up aSasha but passed on at least 5 more. And as of Thursday I could still walk into TRU and see 4 Renee figures and three more between WalMart and Target. Once the local collectors got theirs they don't really move. And this area is right in the middle of T0y W!z's area where even though they have accounts with the toy companies they still go to all the local stores and cherry pick for their store.

Yeh that's fair enough but I disagree with 'most' and think in 2016 most parents who don't collect, whose kids like wrestling and do collect, would have no problem buying them a women's wrestler. I've seen countless times a parent buying there son a women's WWE figure, and like I said most parents would watch WWE with there child if they don't collect so would know Bayley is a good character and would probably want there kid having her over bray Wyatt for example. I just can't accept that outdated 'your a boy your not having a girl toy' attitude in regards to WWE figures with how popular WWE it is amongst kids these days.

Is see it quite a bit at stores. And while my daughter just graduated high school there were plenty of her friends parents who had that mindset at least up to middle school when they stopped having birthday parties where the whole class was invited. And many of those families my daughter is/was friends with had younger siblings. And I can honestly say out of all her friends only one other girl played with Justice League, Star Wars, LoTR like her and none of the boys had female characters so if she wanted to play with WW, leia or a diva she had to bring her own when she went on play dates. So no I don't see it has changed. I guess we will have to agree to disagree.

Sorry but I see her warming the pegs worse than the Bossman. Solid cases of just Bailey isn't going to sell very well. This will be one figure I prey the guy from T0y W1z grabs multiples of from my local TRU. Hell, even the less produced Walgreen's exclusive HBK figure display has been sitting at the New City NY Walgreens untouched for 2-3 weeks now. Be careful, anything even slightly going against the internet darling Bayley will get you with heated responses for no reason.

Anyway If you don't like Bayley or don't like the figure why bring negativity to a positive thread ? Go make your own negative one staying how the Internet darlings new figure won't sell

Jack Mattel checking in here...if anyone says anything negative about Bayley, you will automatically be elevated to legendary status. But to be real...real...these elite divas are going to be a test for Mattel. I can still get Lita and Paige in my area so I don't really think Bayley will be fetching resale prices of $100 or anything like that. It's a nice figure, but already overhyped.

I think Bayley will fare somewhere in the middle of the two extremes this thread suggests. I think the figure will be easy to find, but I also think Bayley will sell well. I don't think the "girls" toy issue will be that bad because she's within a "boys" line combined with the fact that Bayley is the most popular female performer on the roster by any calculable metric (or at least right at the top with Sasha). FWIW, my dad never had a problem with getting me action figures of female characters within "boys" lines (Princess Leia, Batgirl, etc) though he was more reluctant with stuff like Sailor Moon that was aimed at girls. Quite frankly, I think the whole attitude is crazy. Kids should be able to play with whatever toys they want, but I digress.

Be careful, anything even slightly going against the internet darling Bayley will get you with heated responses for no reason. Would you really consider Bayley an Internet darling? The term "internet darling" meant something a lot different before you needed the internet to watch the WWE Network. Everybody's popularity is made on the internet now. To add to the discussion about the figure: Im getting two. I like that they gave her eye make up and I think the expression is a bit of a letdown. The hair and headbands are sculpted now which is cool. And correct boots! I'm happy it will be easy to find.

I am not saying she isn't popular or liked by kids and adults I am saying I don't see many parents buying their sons a female figure/doll unless the parents are a collector themselves. Most non-collecting parents will look at it with the "My son is not playing with dolls" mentally. I don't know the parents you're talking to, obviously, but I do know a lot of parents, and none of them have this attitude.

Great attire choice (though I may be bias, as Brooklyn was one of the best events I've ever attended in person) and frankly I can't understand any complaining about the scan. It looks near exactly like Bayley does during her entrance. Just missing the polka dot headband. I'm not s Bailey fan and I won't be buying - but credit where it's due to Mattel this figure looks spot on just like her! How do u get some figs with such good likeness and others so wrong? (Rsc Jericho 😆)
