So since Ambrose retained at Battleground (thank god) How will the WWE introduce a new title for RAW?
If they introduce a new title tomorrow, then tonight would have been pretty much pointless. Also, they can't just do it out of the blue like "Hey lets give Seth/Roman a new belt because they didn't win at battleground". Personally I feel like they should give it some time and wait until SummerSlam to reveal a new championship but there has to be some type of build up to it.
They need to find a way where the WWE title doesn't look like the less prestigious out of the two. Thoughts?

I feel they should keep it like it is.I like the idea of the WWE title being sorta like a trophy for raw and Smackdown and both brands battle to keep it.Like that episode of South Park when the kids were fighting in two groups to keep both books so no one wouldn't die.

Seth will open RAW talking about how Battleground was a fluke, he's still the number one guy, and now that Ambrose is thankfully gone to Smackdown for good, as the number one RAW guy, Stephanie and Mick Foley should make him the RAW Champion. Instead of doing what Seth wants, Stephanie and Foley will put him in some type of match involving Roman Reigns to crown the new RAW Champion at SummerSlam.

I wish they wouldn't bring in another WWE title. Having 2 titles on Raw/SD and even 3 when ECW was around killed the idea of "Being the champion means youre the best" When you have the  ing WHC champion opening shows on mixed card shows. Have the WWE champion be universal. We dont need a bunch of 14 time champions in a matter of 3-4 years. |

Dont forget there was a time when the Smackdown belt main evented Mania. Multiple times. Keep them seperate, and on the big mixed card shows have the better feud main the card. Thats how it was when it was done correctly. People only seem to remember the bad. |

They need to keep one and somehow have maybe Raw invade or do something and make it interesting. You're supposed to be champion of the company, what's the point if there's multiple champs? |

Why not do it very simply.
Put Dean in a Championship Feud with someone on Smackdown leading into the next PPV.
Meanwhile on Raw Rollins & Reigns get put into a number one contenders feud, after the next PPV while they are building up Rollins/Reigns v Ambrose Smackdown has a number one contenders program. It's very easy to keep switching this up every other month.

After last night I think there will be a new title, because if not what is the motivation for the brand without the title? There's no opportunity for them to be champion. Which is why I said the Champions should be appearing on both brands. So after last night this is how I see RAW going forward...
Stephanie will say because of Roman actions last night he cost Seth and RAW the championship. Thus putting him at odds with her going forward. So Roman will still be fighting the uphill battle vs the boss. After blaming Roman Stephanie will then pull a Bischoff and hand Seth a new Championship belt crowning him the RAW champion.

They tried having one champion for both shows originally when they did the brand extension and look how that turned out. I full expect them to bring back the World Championship tonight and decide that champion at Summer Slam.
Notice how they stopped reffering to Dean as WWE World Heavyweight Champion and just as WWE Champion instead?

I am kinda both for a second World Title and against it. If they want to create competition why would they share Titles? But at the same time I like the idea of having one World/Tag Team/Women's\ Title so only THE best can hold it. Then that means a ton of superstars who should have a run won't. If they do bring in a second World Title, they'll have to redo the WWE Championship, I want this.  Just change the logo to all white no diamonds or anything, same with the tip. and let the Champion banner actually be seen this time. But on topic Steph will complain about not having one and she'll get one. |

Hopefully they keep it simple, seth comes out moaning about how they should be champion, roman or whoever comes out and wants in on a match. Winner crowned new champion at Summerslam.

Having 2 titles definitely waters it down. If they go that route then they also need to make a new women's title and tag title. The big 4 ppvs will be cluttered with nothing but title matches and if they aren't then some titles will be left off the card. When that happen me titles will feel less prestigious than others.

It's very easy to keep switching this up every other month. That will get really boring IMO. So basically we'll never ever get more than a month long feuds? And if Ambrose goes back and forth what would be the point of the split, and why draft him #1 overall if you know he'll be on both shows. The problem isnt 2 titles, its keeping the brands completely seperate. |
