Hard to believe this match was a year ago that started a revolution a match that was only 30 seconds compared to what we have now.I have been a fan of women's wrestling for years now(It's actually what brought me into wrestling).I been there for them when they were treated like bathroom breaks. And to see where it is now is truly amazing. From the NXT Divison to no longer being called "Divas" to receiving a new belt it's truly an amazing time to be a fan of women's wrestling.Of course it's not 100% perfect but after Sasha vs Charlotte it just goes to show you what women can do when you give them the time to do just that. This is probably the best talent we had since the golden era back in the early 2000s. So congratulations to all the women of WWE!

Some expected change overnight, but it takes time to change the system. Takes time to start a revolution. Tonight is proof that the new era has begun.

Sasha Banks sucked tonight man, too many botches ugh I strongly dislike her. She's starting to become the new Paige.

The only reason Sasha and Charlotte went so long tonight was because the roster is split in half now.
I remember back in 2003 and 2004 for an example, we got a lot of long, exciting matches. Orton vs. Jericho, Orton vs. Edge, Christian vs. Jericho, HBK vs. Triple H. Its because the roster wasn't as in depth being that there were two separate brands.
I would think each week that each show now would have longer matches since they don't have to try and squeeze in so much stuff now.

There was so many blown spots in last night's Charlotte/Sasha Banks match. Now that Sasha is champion, I have given up on the Women's Division. Such a shame Becky Lynch is sitting on the sidelines without a championship. I have said it earlier, it pains me Becky Lynch never had a reign as the NXT Women's Championship. I hope Sasha Bank's reign is fairly short. The Women's Championship should have been a dual brand championship. The women on SmackDown have little to fight over.

We both agreed on how we felt about AJ Lee, and I am with you on the Sasha Banks thing too. Sasha goes 100 miles an hour and almost killed herself a few times last night. I wouldn't be shocked if she got a concussion from when Charlotte slammed the back of her head into the guardrail. Also, interesting they didn't save this match for SummerSlam. Maybe they want Charlotte to win it back in Brooklyn, knowing that she will get so much heel heat for it, since the Brooklyn crowd seems to love Sasha?? That's my only theory as to why they did the title change last night.

I have no issue with Sasha Banks as champion, she is one of the most over female performers currently in WWE. I have a hugh distaste for AJ Lee and her fan boys on social media wantiing her back in the WWE, she was sloppy and applied the Black Widow sloppy. Becky Lynch will become champion if they create a female title on SmackDown and I would have Becky Lynch the main focus on the woman's division on SmackDown.

Wow. Did not take long for the hate to rise up for Sasha Banks.
I give Bayley about 6 months from her call up before the fans turn on her.

-- Sasha has a mind for transitioning moves (which is a HUGE asset for a pure wrestling fan's perspective), but she just wasn't up to par on executing them last night. That dive she took reminded me a lot of Lita's from '04 - dangerous $#!T! She's a great cheerleader to the crowd and gets herself over with natural ease; her 'ode to Eddie' spot was well done (the icing was the little smirk and fingers to Dana).
Other than Charlotte being late on Sasha's drop-toe hold, you can tell both girls put their heart into it, and I can respect that more than discriminating against the botches.

Charlotte's moonsault to the outside was really impressive, but it also seemed a bit much. Charlotte is like 5'11" where as Sasha is like what?? 5'4" or around that.
The smaller person should have been doing the moonsault, that's just my opinion. The match though that they had on Raw was 100 times better than the Wrestlemania match, but there was quite a few botches. I don't even know if 'botches' is the correct word to use. I think Sasha was just going way too fast, she needs to learn to slow it down.

You lot having a go at Sasha makes me sick. I'm not her #1 fan, I actually prefer Becky, but she's a life-long wrestling fan who worked her arse off to get to do her dream job. She embodies everything we look for in a wrestler, not being a model/bodybuilder/sports player who fell into it based on their look. If she botched last night, it's probably because she was nervous as knowing her life-long dream was about to come true. If I had worked as hard as she has to become a wrestler and was picked up by WWE, and then was about to become WWE Champion, I'd crap in my pants never mind screw up a spot. Give her some slack.

I wonder if Smackdown will eventually get their own women's championship.

I wonder if Smackdown will eventually get their own women's championship. I don't see why not, the WWE Women's Championship is only on Raw. I see them introduce a new title in weeks to come.

The thing is Charlotte wouldn't have had to do that moonsault if Sasha didn't completely botch the move and fell outside the ring, so Charlotte made a good move on a crappy situation that Sasha made. I agree I think Sasha just needs to tone it down a bit.

They should bring back the Divas Title for Smackdown, and if they do, I can see Eva Marie being the champion.
The way she came out tonight on Smackdown and had all that glitz and glamour shows that she is gonna be the women of the Smackdown women's division.

Smackdown does need it's own Women's Championship, but I HATE the term Diva. I say make a new Women's Belt, using the same design as the current belt and just change the Red to Blue on the belt. They could call it the World Womens Championship or Smackdown Womens Championship, just not Divas.

Eva Marie is basically Maryse .5. Not sure about her wrestling ability, but she plays into the fact that the crowd hates her (e.g., what Roman should have been doing from Day 1).
I'm kind of confused as the better personalities in terms of characters are found on Smackdown. The wrestling is about the same. Regardless of how fans have turned on Paige, Banks, and Charlotte, they're really good wrestlers on Raw. Smackdown you have Becky, Natty, and Naomi. There are a lot of good hands on both shows and should be good wrestling wise.
However, for some reason, Smackdown has better characters. From Blissed Off to All Red Everything to the Crazy Cat Lady to the Lass Kicker Maiden Ireland herself, you have actual characters.
Raw has Flair's Daughter and the Boss, who really hasn't had much character development since her debut, and my favorite, Paige, who sadly just screams and tells us where she lives. She's Daffney 2.0.

Just have the Women's title for both Raw & Smackdown, occasionally have the title match on either brand (but rarely) & always have a PPV match just to make it seem important, rather than having it as a prop & not defending it (I'm looking at you Nikki).
But please keep Eva as far away from any title challenge as much as possible.
