Hell, my GI Joe's used to wear full tactical gear and finishing moves worked all the time. I mean, guys with helmets wouldn't kick out of a DDT. So... I don't see a problem here.

First, I'm a big fan of Finn. Very glad for his success tonight. But doesn't Roman's "bulletproof" vest seem like it would be the perfect counter to Finn's Coup De Grase? Ha I had that same thought as Finn was climbing to the top rope. wondering if the vest would play a part. I thought "Reigns is gonna no sell this and these people are gonna be pissed" lol

I wouldn't overthink it. We've seen people blinded by having water tossed into their eyes. We're also have watched logically for years as guys are tossed into the ropes and spring back.

It's not a bulletproof vest. It's a modified tactical vest. There's no Kevlar in what Roman wears. It offers no more protection than a sweater does. Other than the argument, "because wrestling," this should have ended the conversation immediately. It's more fun to keep arguing. Nobody likes it when the answer is on the first page. I'm a spoilsport though. We've seen people blinded by having water tossed into their eyes. Hey, hard water is a bitch maggle!

Roman's gear has never been billed as being Bulletproof or being a Chest Protector I don't think unlike D'Lo Brown in 98 though.

If we were really going to apply logic, vest or not, Finn's move would likely kill Roman. Probably break his sternum causing some sever complications. Pretty much this. The double stop to the back of his head would've killed him or knocked him out.

It's not a legitimate vest, it's just his attire. They've never mentioned the vest to be bulletproof etc. have they?

Shhhhhhs! Roman lost to Finn. Be happy that it happened.
Never question Roman being pinned. EVER.
Don't give WWE any logic ideas.

The double stop to the back of his head would've killed him or knocked him out. the double stomp was perfected by former WCW wrestler Super Dragon who went on to found NWA Hollywood. The curb stomp should be kicked to the curb in favor of safer moves. The double stomp needs to be double stopped. Checking in. Every Seth Rollins move is one step closer in it?

I always thought Roman wore a baseball back catcher's vest. Maybe he was hoping to get in a quick game of baseball before he wrestled?? Or just not wrestle and play a game of softball with Sid Vicious....

Have they ever established any sort of narrative that Roman was impervious to damage to the midsection/chest because of the vest? If not (I don't recall), I don't see any sort of issue. I feel like a 190ish pound dude crashing into your chest feet first is going to knock the wind out of you, the same way a bullet would wearing a vest. Not as severely, of course, but you get the point. There have been far more egregious offenses in wrestling. I hate the word "narrative", it's a really pretentious replacement for the word "story".

Logic went out the window a long time ago. I remember when Scotty 2 Hotty won matches with the Worm.

Such a pretentious way of saying "there". OP is correct and I think WWE should ride the hate train and book an angle in which Vince allows Roman to wrestle in protective gear because moms like him.

Well said due to the variations of subset type data received through message communications devices we take for granted the value and virtue there by we come-forth intuition tarrying degrees of flags and decolusion. WWE is Ryback rules, nobody fools. I think Roman's vest is best suited for an older talent like Kane. The logic is fine and the rest is mine.

I don't think the vest matters much, but it does look funny that before his suspension, he was kicking out of multiple finishers and no-selling chair shots, but suddenly he's mortal again.
