I am so excited for these figures! As long as these are under 8 dollars, I'll be happy. 5.99 would be ideal, but I'm not that naive,
Given the current rosters & legends under Mattel's jurisdiction, I am emphatic about this toy line!!! I already have my mat rials todpgether to build custom rings, arenas, cages, & so on!

Can't wait for these! Feel like a kid again I have questions but doubt anyone will know the answers but hey here goes.... 1. Are they definitely to scale with the original hasbro series? 2. Will they be available in the UK? (I think Asda is owned by Wal Mart?) 3. What is the Undertakers 'move'? Not obvious. 4. Keen to hear which one of the six you guys like the best?

I'm betting these will be $12.99 due to the heaping amount of plastic that will be used. After a year or so, mark downs and clearances until these fail to exist in the wild any longer...
In all seriousness, I expect $12.99 since these items are clearly aimed as collector audiences, and if Mattel can hook a few kids in as well, that's just icing on the cake. I fully except this line to do well as long as Mattel doesn't add too many gimmick accessories or playsets.

I think Taker is just pose able, some of those hasbros didn't have a action.
Honestlyrics, they could make anyone and I'd buy this line. And price it at $20 I'd still pay it lol. I've been missing this line since I first had Shawn drop an elbow on fatu..

I could be wrong but pretty sure they all had an action, not that it matters. If it's just poseable then that's awesome too. They look freakin awesome! For the first time since '94 I'm excited about new wrestling figures.

I've been missing this line since I first had Shawn drop an elbow on fatu.. I think the Taker figure is about as useable as the original Hasbro version in some ways, but yeah, he's more for posing than anything else however all Hasbro figures had an action, that was their USP, but the actions did limit some playability as the "jumper" figures had closed legs, so couldn't lose to the Figure Four or the Sharpshooter.....

Love the figures and cant wit for them hate the fact they are a Walmart release If the line takes off, they might be sold at other retailers. Mattel's DC Superhero Girls started out as a Target Exclusive, but are now sold in other stores.

I always hated the jumper action. The best mold ever made was Shawn Michael's. His and Brets mold were perfect for a match. How cool would it be if they made WCW figures in Galoob style? It would literally be like the old days again.

Contrary to popular opinion, I'm dying for this line to become THE line behind Elites & Basics. That would be fantastic.

They might as well just turn over the entire operation and crank these out by the dozen. The only interest I've ever had in any wrestling figure line post-1994 was as a consolation for not having Hasbros. Now that they exist once more, it'll be impossible for me to ever care about anything else again.

And the price tag should keep us around for a long time. So I want rings, cages, double packs.. everything. I want to live in the 90's again through this line. Next thing to make is Galoob style for retro wcw and current nxt figures.. I'd Mark hard.

I cannot wait for these to be released! I would love a full series of these, and I seriously hope, that if Mattel are going to start creating moulds and the necessary tooling for creating these, that they've got a market proposition built up around subsequent lines and a scaled ring (with cage perhaps?) as well! if they bring out rings, I am buying multiples!!!!! I would love a Raw and a Smackdown or NXT ring, but I also want spares for later in life to flog on eBay

tbh these should be at every retail chain.. i think they are doing an injustice to it already from the start with an exclusive tag. i know its hard to predict how well they sell, but these have been what alot of folks wanted for a while, and meanwhile flexforce, minis, zombies and other bs lines get FULL releases and every retail store. blah it just ticks me off sometimes. even the network spotlight/HOF figs should be everywhere. but thats another topic.

Aside from the planning and production time, there are probably a lot of reasons why they're not showing up by Christmas. They're Wal-Mart exclusive, so they're probably waiting for a toy aisle reset to put them on the planogram. Also, it's a retro/niche line, so there's no rush to get them in before Christmas. Collectors will still buy them afterwards, and for Christmas shopping they're probably just going to put discounts on the rings and maybe do a BOGO on the Basics to move the WWE stuff.

I hope I can find these when they come out, I haven't bought any modern figures since the Jakks line in the late 90's. I'm only after Taker and Warrior though, wonder if a lot of collectors will be the same. Hope they don't end up with tons of the new guys warming the shelves.
