And cloth robe Goldie was revealed. So QA wasn't a complete joke.

The problem is people ask questions that are too closed ended. "Are we going to get more Flashback Divas?" "Are we gonna get more classic managers?".....the answers to questions like these are obvious....Yes, most likely, Im working on something (but wont tell)....You have to specify your questions. Are we getting Slick soon? Will we see Rockin Robin soon?....If you ask closed ended questions, you're going to get the same "yes & no" answers. Step your game up WFigs

Actually feel like last year's Q&A was good but this year's was a little lackluster It was only 10 minutes long this year. It should have been 20 minutes. I feel like every q&a before was more than 10 minutes

Im sure the questions were slim picking, when half probably read
"Why is sting so jacked?" "When are we getting flashback savio vega?" "Why does my bulldog have a blue speck on his chest?"

I've never understood why people feel the need to ask if "Will (insert current star here) be made soon?" If they're on tv regularly, most likely they'll be getting made.

I actually liked the Q&A - I can understand some people's frustrations... but surely, some news is better than no news at all? I thought the following was all pretty interesting: - cloth robe for Goldust - Bob Backlund figure is likely - new classic manager upcoming - new Flashback Diva upcoming (Alundra Blayze would be my guess) - if the Shockmaster figure sells well, they'll consider making other more niche wrestlers - no more Elite 2-packs in the forseable future - the "Elite Legends" series was a one-off - the "Legends" style packaging for Magnum was a one-off - Elites are selling "really really well" - Bill would prefer new heads and accessories to personalised hands - the Asuka figure was Bill's favourite - and hardest to work on

Don't want to bother with the interview, does anyone have a summary? I'm not bothering with asking any questions next year then, it's the same crap asked over and over.

They need a new way to ask questions or pick them. Maybe start a thread when it gets to 2 pages lock it. Have everyone like the questions they want. Do it maybe 10 threads and take the top questions and make them a poll or something.
I hate the Will we get or when will we. I'd rather know how we can get or what needs to happen to get. Why are things donevertsinways. Not just will we get a figure, especially a current guy. We KNOW Bill will get to them.

This wasn't a total loss. Cloth goods with debut Goldust was nice. We know when the New Day three-pack is coming. But I'd almost prefer Bill give us a state of the line speech. Talk about what was shown at SDCC. How soon can we expect Nakamura? What's the story behind the accessories chosen? Why the return to vac belts? Why was certain attires chosen? Why go all-in on Ottman?

scoff all you want but I couldn't be bothered wasting 8-10 minutes of my day to watch this crap. But why can't we ask Bill things like why are they using black plastic molds and painting flesh? Is that a cost-cutting measure somehow and will you be continuing this practice or looking for alternate solutions?
What is the process behind existing part-selection for wrestlers you have in the design stage? Some of the arm choices have been questionable e.g. Owens and Anvil. Is it just a matter of part availabilty or really up to the designer's artistic discretion?
Who gives a fook about GM DBry.
And to be quite honest with you guys, molded robes at this 6" scale look far better than cloth ones. The level of sculpt detail and paint app deco in plastic robes are far superior than simply having the ability to articulate arms in cloth robes. The figure ends up feeling like a dress-up Ken doll.

You have to solve the appropriate equation to figure out who the classic manager is:
Sika + Afa = Captain Lou
however,
Sika + Kamala = Mr. Fuji
consider:
Stevie Ray + Booker T = Sherri

I thought the two most important questions posted were... 1. Torso molded in color opposed to flesh. I know they have been doing it since at lease E16 Nash/Diesil, but then figures like the Bushwhackers, RSC and DM Bret Hart have flesh colored molded torsos. So why are they flipping back and forth?
2. What if anything was going to be done with the scale between Elites and Basics of the same characters being very off. HTM, Surfer Sting, Crow Sting all come to mind where their Basics are much shorter than their Elites.

I get that it's a toy line at mass retail and it's directed to kids. But conventions like SDCC are driven by the adult collector. So I don't get why we can't ask Bill more adult-style questions, things like design and production choices, his vision for the line, if he can give us some insight as to why they try so hard to diversify into other sub-lines when the majority fail at retail. That's the stuff I'm interested in. Not asking him "Will we get MOJO RAWLEY BECAUSE I'M SO HYYYYYPE!!!!"
