Rs needs to keep a good working relationship with Bill & Mattel so they can't really push the hard questions on him. I got to speak with Bill at last years RS fest n he was more than happy to answer my questions. At the end of the day those type of questions about budget, part choices need to be asked by collectors.

How many toy designers take the time to spend 4 days at SDCC staggering the reveals to keep things exciting for the fans at home? How many designers are willing to answer questions during the panel? What other major toy line designer is willing to be filmed and questioned while adding new figures to the display? Who else will pop in on a forum during SDCC to clarify the release schedule of the exclusives in the display? And after what has to have been an exhausting week for him, who else is willing to do an on camera interview to answer some of our questions? I can not think of anyone else but Bill. So stop complaining and appreciate that we have someone that is so very engaging with the fans of this toy line. Thank you MattelDesignTeam, some people on here do appreciate you.

scoff all you want but I couldn't be bothered wasting 8-10 minutes of my day to watch this crap. But why can't we ask Bill things like why are they using black plastic molds and painting flesh? Is that a cost-cutting measure somehow and will you be continuing this practice or looking for alternate solutions? What is the process behind existing part-selection for wrestlers you have in the design stage? Some of the arm choices have been questionable e.g. Owens and Anvil. Is it just a matter of part availabilty or really up to the designer's artistic discretion? Who gives a fook about GM DBry. And to be quite honest with you guys, molded robes at this 6" scale look far better than cloth ones. The level of sculpt detail and paint app deco in plastic robes are far superior than simply having the ability to articulate arms in cloth robes. The figure ends up feeling like a dress-up Ken doll. No bandy, don't ask a serious question about quality control. That's not allowed here. If you can't kiss Mattel's ass then keep it to yourself.

What the hell is he supposed to answer? I rather have lineup questions then ambushing him ... BILL DID U KNOW MY SAMOA JOE HAD A PAINT SMUDGE NEVER BUYING A FIGURE AGAIN UGH I agree that he shouldn't be ambushed with questions that come off disrespectful but he could be asked questions regarding some consumer concerns. A few years ago DC Collectibles had issues with figure breakage. They were asked about it in a respectful way during Q&As and addressed the issue, saying that they were experimenting with different plastics to improve durability. This year Pixel Dan on YouTube brought up to DC Collectibles that there have been some delays and asked about it respectfully. The rep said that it had to do with them trying out different factories overseas to find the optimal one that can deliver the best quality for the best cost. Now in terms of what I consider disrespectful was ShartimusPrime's interview with the Marvel Legends guys. He asked why female figures don't have double jointed elbows. They said that when the females have thinner arms having the double joints often ruins the aesthetic of the figure. Shartimus then proceeds to pull out a DC Icons figure and goes "Well this Harley Quinn has double jointed elbows and looks fine to me." Luckily he's friendly with the Marvel Legends guys because it was definitely an awkward moment to watch. I could see people being frustrated with fluff questions when Bill takes time out of his day to answer questions. I think there's ways to address concerns and still be respectful about it. For example, let's look at painted skin tones on singlet torsos. Bad way to ask "Why do so many figures have skin tones painted on their torsos? It looks horrible!" Good way to ask "Recently we've gotten a bunch of figures with skin tones painted on their torsos. What it the reasoning for this? Is it easier to produce the figure this way?"

Just do a Facbook Live Q&A next time, that way Bill can answer what ever he wants and everyone gets more of a chance of getting a reply to their question

Bill works for mattel. They have strict standards of what can be said and what info can be given to the consumer. Just like any other company.
They have a recent public issue with safety qc, so any qc question from any employee will sound scripted.
Theres legalities behind the questions some of you want.
The black mould thing, is obviously a cost cutting issue. Which things like that are probably out of bills hands

i dont think people are complaining , as much as just wanting to get better communication from MDT/RSC to us the consumer. They just need a person who knows the product and someone who can select some questions that arent the normal or to make sure they dont pick the same questions asked twice as it happened again this year. No one can get better unless they are told to change for the better. relax ..

So you complain about the complaining for the sake of complaining? Of course the one who was mad about an accurate strap color would try and be a wiseass back When you make wise ass comments about something that clearly isn't important to you, you should expect wise ass comments And when something is inaccurate, it doesn't get me mad, it's annoying, so I was annoyed, obviously. But if you just want to brown nose all the time you should avoid threads like this

They choose dumb questions every year. I don't know why I got my hopes up. We waited a week for no information in a lame 10 minute video. Bill refuses to answer any real questions anyways (which I understand).

The panel left to the imagination and then WWE release pics of the figures and which lines they'd be in. I think there were few questions we could ask really. I'm looking to collecting a lot of was coming out.

I have to say there was nothing wrong with the Q&A. I thank many of the questions were answered before it even happened. We saw AJ Styles, Nakamura, American Alpha, The Revival, Alexa Bliss, A Debut Goldust, Typoon, The Club, Wolfpac Sting, Corey Graves, Elite Becky, Elite Breeze, Harlem Heat, Boogeyman, Tatanka, Beefcake, Asuka and more. Definitley can't wait to get many of these.
Other than those I feel everything was answered for the most part. Maybe some questions where people ask questions that he couldn't answer, but no one should be dissatisfied with Mattel this year at all.

It's very simple ringside has a working relationship will Mattel. So ringside will not rock the boat, and will cherry pick the milk toast questions. That's why year after year legend killer Orton and undisputed Jericho questions are ignored. For ringside is like wwe, they want to put out there own version of reality in there Q&A videos. What other people want and actual reality be damned. Right ringside ??

...the DM Flair robes disagree with you... And the Elite Series 8 Regal robe agrees with him... The Elite series 6 Goldust, too. This new Goldust's robe will likely look awful in comparison. The Rick Rude one feels and looks so cheap and ill-fitting.

I'm personally really glad it is coming with a cloth robe. When I heard this it suddenly became one of my top wants behind Balor, Styles & Asuka. I would much rather that than some cocoon that completely removes articulation.

Hopefully the classic manager is the Doctor of Style SLICK I think it's going to be Sherri I'm pre-ordering two if it is. I want one for my first MOC and one to open for my small display. My Jakks Sherri is in storage somewhere.
