I don't believe everyone who fails multiple drug tests is necessarily an addict. I thought Orton failed one test for steroids and another for marijuana, if I'm remembering correctly. So, I wouldn't put Orton in the same category as somebody like, say, Jeff Hardy, who has a long history of consistent abuse with several different types of drugs. I think you don't get a violation for Marijuana, you get a fine. And now that it is becoming legal in a lot of states, that has probably changed. I know for sure they used to suspend guys for weed violations. That's why RVD was suspended and was forced to lose both his WWE and ECW titles. I'm not sure if that's changed, though.

He did not get in trouble for smoking weed, he got in trouble because he and Sabu were arrested for having Marijuana on them while they were driving. Which is the same thing essentially as if he failed a test for smoking weed.

So, all anybody has to do is voluntarily go to rehab and they get a strike removed from a previous Wellness Policy violation? That makes zero sense. Everybody would wind up doing that, then, after they failed a drug test if this was true. I am assuming they have to be there a minimum amount of time and make a certain amount of progress to lose the strike. Which if they were still on the active roster they couldn't really be in rehab. So it would either be during injury recovery or taking agreed upon time off, which many wrestlers wouldn't do

You get a 2,500 fine for alcohol or marijuana. They treat them the same. You get no suspension or anything just a fine. He got in trouble because of getting arrested, not failing a test.

It says you must wait 18 months and have no failed test, and apply for it. And it knocks of one strike.

Well, that makes it even dumber to suspend someone for something another person in their car may be carrying on them.

Well, that makes it even dumber to suspend someone for something another person in their car may be carrying on them. RVD admitted to the 18grams of weed being his, and some pills. Sabu had a pipe and some pills so he got arrested for drug paraphernalia. RVD was possession of a controlled substance.

I remember Sabu was the one carrying the pain pills, but didn't remember how the rest of it shook out. Hard to believe that was, what, 10 years ago? Time flies.

Which is the same thing essentially as if he failed a test for smoking weed. Nope. Brian Kendrick always used to get fines for smoking weed. No suspension, no wellness policy violation. Synthetic weed and legal highs, though, do often contain chemicals that violate the policy. Evan Bourne and R-Truth have been suspended for smoking some marijuana substitute.

Wondering if his "shouler injury was legit", and the rehab is a last resort for someone before being fired. Like maybe now he's back at 2, and the shoulder injury was his 3rd. Just conspiracy theorist thinking, i doubt it, but its definitely strange hed do rehab now to remove a strike. If that was an option always, why not do it sooner?
