I've taken a liking to how parts of the body are more rubber then the other figures. Particularly the boots/feet. After playing with my son with them I noticed they are better at standing and such. Like to perform top rope maneuvers, or even just posing figures on the ropes a la stone cold, Randy Orton etc. Their boots/feet have much better grip then the other figures to where they would just slide.
Basically what it boils down to, is would you be okay with it if Mattel changes the other elites/basics to the more rubber parts?

Let's just copy Jakks and have no arm articulation Um, that would be worse. Not sure if you know or not but there is articulation in those boots.

No. My son does have one of those and I can see that the parts seem more durable and it could eliminate quality issues in the main lines but I just don't like how they feel. If the figures would all feel like this then I would stop buying completely.

I've got a handful of the Create-A-Superstar figures and even their ring because they were all purchased on clearance. If this was the quality with which Mattel made their Basic and Elite figures I would not pay $10 to $20 for them any more. They're of such a lighter plastic.

Wow way to read guys. I'm specifically talking about the feet only. Not the whole figure. And yes I bought them on clearance as well cause otherwise I wouldn't have. Some of you just don't understand what I'm trying to say.

I don't care what Mattel does to save money on Basics, but mess with the elites anymore and Mattel loses a collector in me. I'm a life long wrestling fan, but I'll put funds in more deserving companies.

I got the wyatt one for $2.
The pieces feel a bit cheaper, but i like it better.
Easier to pose and just nicer body parts

I dont mind em but I dont think Mattel can paint designs on them like they can with regular figure feet.
