(It's not a match) My favorite moment is when Dusty is backstage with Goldust and Cody Rhodes and after they walk away he say, "I raised some WEIRD kids."

So hard to pick just one... Loved the Texas Death Match against Superstar Billy Graham. Take you pick between any of the contests with Ric Flair. Or his feud with Steve Corino that basically made Corino. All excellent choices. But, I've gotta say that my favorite memory of Dusty isn't his matches or even his promos. It was how instrumental he'd been backstage towards the new generation of WWE superstars, particularly in how he helped built NXT into what it is today. Thanks for the sweet giveaway!

Damn, people threw away 100k like it was nothing, in the 80's 🤑
Anyways, it's gotta be the time Jeff Jarrett impersonated him.
This was in a WCW ring, so it 'Ennn thuhhh baaaggg baayybbaahh' #IffttttYerwwwWheeelll
Just for the fun of it :
Anytime that he was doing commentary on WCW Saturday Night while doing the end of the match replays, that big ass crane hook arm would fly into the screen and he'd be like 'loook owwwt booyyzzz hur comes dat big-owww hook, itz gowenna booger up sum-body I tell-ya, shew !

There was a match in Championship Wrestling Florida against Terry Funk that was referred to as a Barbed Wire Fence Match that I only ever read about in Pro Wrestling Illustrated. I don't think there is actual footage of the match, other than photos. Much like The Last Battle in Atlanta match between Buzz Sawyer and Tommy Rich, I can only imagine how brutal and grueling the match must have been. I believe the match was in 1978 and I remember being shocked by the photos. I'm going with that match based off of the PWI article and photos that leave it up to the imagination. So ahead of his time with the bloody and "extreme"/"hardcore" violence. media-cache-ec0.pinimg.com/736x/a5/a2/5e/a5a25e70a8c001ec90a5405c97296e60.jpg

for me, and this may not be popular, but when he teamed up with cody and goldust to face the shield at battleground, that was a buzzy goosebump moment. just think...dusty vs the shield?!
his music hitting at a fairly recent ppv, unexpected and a great way to celebrate his career/accomplishments
the american dream... r.i.p

I really don't have a match in particular on my mind right now, but I met Dusty in the early 2000's when I was growing up. When I met him he asked me and my dad if we wanted to take a picture with him, and we said sure. He had also autographed the picture. When he had passed away last year I was truly sad, so I want to get more Dusty Rhodes figures as I can to commemorate his life in wrestling.

late to the game but not over the deadline:
My favourite is Dusty participating in the inagural War Games because he's the guy that created it from scratch and to not only see it come to fruition, but to also participate in it must have been quite an achievement.

They need to bring War Games out of moth balls. That was always one of my favorite WCW events
