We've seen lists comparing Jakks Classic Superstars figures to Matttel figures and which ones have yet to be made, but my question is the reverse. What legends/flashback characters have Mattel produced that Jakks did not. I was not a Jakks collector so I do not know if there are many, but, for example, the few I know off the top of my head:
Macho Man Magnum TA Miss Elizabeth Ringmaster
I'm sure there are more, who else?

Von Erichs Magnum TA Macho Man Ricky Steamboat Sting - technically he didn't have a CS/CSDA figures. Just the TNA/Legends lines. Road Dogg Billy Gunn
I don't think Lita or Trish had figures in the CS/CSDA line unless you count Trish's LJN tribute figure.

Randy Savage, I never understood why or the deal behind it. WWE and Macho Man weren't on good terms with each other when Jakks had the license. When Mattel took over he signed a legends deal which is why you saw so much merchandise of his come out. Then he passed away.

Jakks signed a lot of guys who werent on good terms with the WWE (IE-Ultimate Warrior, Bruno Sammartino, etc). I think Mattel being a larger company, they probably had more resources to sign Randy Savage than Jakks.

I'm not 100% sure but i think now Mattel has to go through WWE to get their guys.

The real question is... why hasn't Mattel given us two-strapped singlet Andre with black knee pads and wrist bands?

Oh right that explains it thank you, wasn't that supposedly to do with the rumours about him and Steph. I never knew why Steamboat never had a Jakks figure either, I know it's due to contract but I don't see why he wouldn't sign one.

I remember reading or listening to interview with something about his now ex wife owned the rights or trademark or something on his name and likeness during the time jakks was making figures Im not sure if anyone else remembers this as it's been awhile so I could be remembering incorrectly

Then the Legends line flopped and it turned out signing old wrestlers wasn't cost effective, so since 2011 or so, they haven't made signings and just make ones who are WWE contracted.
