The cheapest on Amazon is $56.90 plus $5.99 shipping. Haven't looked on any auction sites. $30 plus shipping is a whole lot better than padding scalper's wallets.

I like the people complaining about shipping. The people that got these at Comic Con had to pay $40-55 per ticket to get into the convention, on top of the $30 for the figure. We're getting off pretty easy by comparison. Its not Mattel making up the shipping price as shown that several of us have a different calculated price. Blame the USPS and how they let the size of the box really screw you over in price. Also factor in too that the company will sometimes tack on the price of the shipping materials into the shipping prices as well, its usually the "& handling" part of it. You were also fully entitled to not submit the order if you didn't agree with the price. They didnt pay for the ticket...to get shockmaster. They got a fun day out at Comic Con. Believe it or not, many thousands of non WWE fans did the same thing... When I got Matty to the UK they use UPS. International rip off merchants turned up at my door demanding 47 quid for my Castle Greyskull. I told them to shine Castle Greskull up real nice....

You had to already have dropped $40-55 just for the opportunity to pick up your pre-order regardless of what else you did that day. That's why I said by comparison us paying $30 + $10 is getting off easy.

FYI all you Matty noobs: That's how they are. There's no point complaining. They are going out of business and their inflated shipping costs over the last decade is a big reason.
Anyway shockmaster is one of mattels best figures so just bite the bullet. It was an Sdcc exclusive. Going to Sdcc can cost thousands. You're getting it delivered to your door for $45. Worth it

Shocked! Shocked! Pun intended. That this thread hasn't been locked yet. Last few pages is just bickering. But hey, I'm enjoying reading the content.

I am passing on thi one for now. The fact we are getting Typhoon and the Disasters made this decision easier and I'm not spending over 80 bucks for 3 Ottman figures.

I got the SDCC Undertaker for like $15 so getting this one for $45 kinda feels like evening it out. It's a fabulous figure displaying a memorable moment. Plus if this sells well, there's a better chance that MattelDesignTeam will #FreeTheGooker.

How are they allowed to price gauge shipping costs? There is absolutely no way in hell that it will cost that company $12 to ship a MOC wrestling figure. USPS Priority Mail with free insurance would cost about $6 and change at the MOST. To me that seems illegal. No wonder they are going under, what a terribly run business.

I never got that about Matty Collector myself. You order from Mattelshop and their shipping is fair but you go over to Matty and its highway robbery.

It's part of how they make their money on Mattycollector. Yes, that is a real thing. Yes, the gouge on shipping. Yes, it's technically not legal. No, there is nothing that can be done about it. No, they do not spend $11 to ship to you. Yes, they get huge breaks on shipping because they ship so much stuff.
Unfortunately, Mattel the corporate entity, only ever agreed to allow MattyCollector to exist if they could have huge markups on everything. Unfortunately, this forced figures to be too much and sales to plummet so Matty made some of the profit loss up on expensive shipping. That ultimately still wasn't enough to keep things afloat and now Matty is DOA.
But yeah, it sucks. But on the positive note, this is the last year for this. Next year they'll put their SDCC exclusives up onto their Mattel store, where shipping is still calculated regularly and not with a 15% markup.
