It's a laughably terrible idea, just a way to fill time and keep them both in purgatory away from any title opportunities.

A best of seven series makes no sense without a prize to be won at the end of it. As others have said, guarantee the winner a title shot or a huge monetary prize or a day as GM or whatever...just make it for something instead of an excuse to recycle Cesaro/Sheamus matches for the next two months.

I think they will have good matches. I do like both, but I am not a fan of Cesaro's entrance. And I don't think there should be a "best of 7" without a title or the very least a contender ship on the line.

Could be the next Benoit/Booker This is one of these things that people are gonna $hit on at first , but slowly start to love , and by the end of it say "holy that was amazing!!" No they're not. We've already seen these two guys wrestle each other 7 times. This isn't 1997. Guys with good work rate are a dime a dozen now. It's not like Seth Rollins or Finn Balor are up at the top of the card doing big boots and dropping legs. Benoit and Booker were special because their work rate was a stark contrast to the main event scene. That obviously isn't the case anymore.

Sheamus pretty much ruins everything. If this was Cesaro and Zayn in a best of 7, I would be giddy.

If this doesn't lead to an actual Cesaro push then the dude just needs to quit. The fact that he didn't beat The Miz or Rusev for their titles is just absurd. I've been saying for a while now how much better I think he would do elsewhere. I'm not sure what "it" Vince is looking for, but Cesaro has shown multiple times he knows what it is and has it. I believe he has anyway. As far as this feud goes, I expect every single match to be a ing slugfest. I'm currently alright with it as long as it legitimizes one of them somehow. Hopefully Cesaro, but something needs to happen out of it.

Sheamus needs to disappear for a while then come back and make an IMPACT with a new look or have him and cesaro shake hands at the final best of seven match that will be a draw and form a tag team and challenge and not win the tag titles then turn on each other at the end of the match and have another best of seven but the final match inside a hell in a cell lol

Should have been a 2 out of 3 falls match at Summer Slam with the winner getting the first shot against new WWE Universal Champion.
Meh.

It's pointless. Now if one of them were holding a title, then it would be worth something. Or have a loser leaves WWE stipulation or something. Just seeing two guys wrestle each other in a best of for nothing is silly. I wouldn't be surprised if as it goes on some sort of stipulation gets added. A best of 7 for nothing seems pointless. I would like it to end up being loser leaves Raw with Sheamus winning and Cesaro ending up on Smackdown.

I guess some people really do want to watch the world burn.

They put on good matches but I'm bored of seeing them face each other for no reason.

Hopefully Cesaro, but something needs to happen out of it. Cesaro in New Japan would be INSANE. Matches with Okada, Ishii, SHIBATA, etc would be instant classics. But yeah I'm excited for the matches because those two always work a style that you rarely see in the WWE but this leads to nothing for Cesaro the whole thing is pointless. Let's be honest, Sheamus has flopped as a top guy THREE times now. Cesaro is the one that needs the rub here.

No interest in this. I'm a fan of both guys, but they've dropped the ball on Sheamus so many times now, and it's obvious they don't care about Cesaro (I wish he'd drop the Bond act, personally). Their last two matches were boring enough, the next seven will be no better. Just an awful, awful idea

I think Cesaro is long over do for a world title reign. He is super over with the crowd and he is an amazing athlete. Hopefully this whole thing puts him in line for a shot at the universal title or he gets traded to smackdown and he gets a shot at the world title.

Didn't want to see this match twice, let alone potentially 7 more times

It's all going to be fast-forward material for me, but it's about as good a use of them as can be done. Cesaro is awful and let's down any kind of storyline he's in, so a best of seven series makes sense. Sheamus isn't much better. It's not like either of them would be doing anything substantial in the next six weeks or so anyway, and I guess it is a decent way to build Sheamus for a feud with Balor after.
But yeah, I won't be watching it. They can have great matches together, I loved their PPV bout two years ago, but they've wrestled so many times in their long, bland, workrate matches that I can't see myself ever wanting to watch them against each other again.
