He has a point. Crowds lately have been getting really annoying. Rollins and Finn are trying to put on a show and they try to hijack it by attacking the belt. Same deal as Batista and his Bluetista thing years back. I'm not a fan of the design, but it shouldn't interfere with the flow or Dynamic of the match.

It's only a belt at the end of the day. It's the meaning/worth/ build up behind it that makes it worth a damn. But yeah that crowd sucked. I'm telling you, crowds like that want to get themselves over.

You can't blame fans for voicing their opinion.
It's like, "here's our product".. "Oh, you don't like our product? Well, shut up about it anyways and just accept it".

Fans are the reason this company still exists. If they don't like something they have a right to voice their opinions. If Rollins is so mad then he has nobody to blame but himself. Him and Finn should have done more to grab the crowds attention than just go out there and have an average match. The title looks like crap. The name is crap. The WWE should have expected all of this, especially since neither man was allowed to go all out. They should have just brought back the WHC.

Well to be fair it also helps that people actually care about what they're fighting over.

I can understand both sides, but that belt is hideous and pure lazy. There's no denying that.

I don't get why people say the belt is bad. The only thing different from the other title is the strap is red for raw. People will complain about anything.
The name is dumb though.

Also, you have to put it in mind that we New Yorkers are some of the rowdiest people ever haha.

Crowd was dead after AJ/Cena.. both title matches tonight had no reaction at all. But tbh I thought Rollins vs Balor was going to be a better match tonight especially with it being NO DQ..was kinda let down. same with Ambrose vs Ziggler, that was a let down IMO

That belt really isn't that bad. Did anyone expect something different?

I was at the show. The crowd was booing the title before they even unveiled it because they could tell it was the same exact shape as the WWE & Women's Championship. And you know what? It was hideous. This company knew how much crap they were getting for naming it the WWE Universal Championship so, AT THE VERY LEAST, they should've made sure they created the best looking belt in the entire company. Instead, they took the same design as TWO OTHER BELTS and made the strap red. Awful. What a terrible show. So it was a terrible show because the belt didn't look how you wanted? Give me a break.

The match was good and the fans ate it up more than the ambrose ziggler match am i wrong? The ending to zigglers match was cool.
I remember the Universal match having crazy transitions the crowd ate it up. Must have been RVD' off my ass...

Seriously I feel like the only person who sits back and watches the show instead of being stuck on a phone, tablet or computer ready to trash it.

Can't not agree, but at the same time, the whole scenario over the Universal Championship dampened the credibility of the Match. Putting a United States Championship Match on afterwards (while it made sense in hindsight), belittled the Balor vs Rollins Match, and the cheap knockoff of the WWE Championship was clearly going to frustrate the fans. You want them to feel like they are fighting for a Title that is to define a new era and be special, and as soon as they saw that it felt hard to buy into. The amount of good wrestling already prior to that didn't help the Match either.

No, I felt it was a terrible show because it was unnecessarily long with most matches that either didn't matter, disappointing, or just plain bad. I loved Cena/AJ and I actually didn't mind Lesnar/Orton but I thought everything else was pretty bad.
