Did you watch last night though? It seemed less like a retirement and more like a reason to make them relevant on the roster again. Seems to be why they were attacked by The Club after their speech in the ring. yeah i watched. But sevral sites are reporting that they're done. Like those sites are 100% correct.

From the stuff I've read on other sites, its legit. The Club gave them a beatdown to "put some heat" on them. Take that with a grain of salt or two, though. I hope they stick around, they should get one more go with the titles. I'd love some FB tie-dye Dudley figs, as well.

I kind of doubt they're going to have the Dudleyz go out laying beaten down in the middle of the ring by Gallows and Anderson.
There's a revenge tour coming.

When I first heard about it, I thought it was a work - but the way the whole thing played out, it seems to be genuine...
For what it's worth:
**Dave Meltzer reported on Tuesday that The Dudley Boyz contracts are up with the WWE and Monday was in fact their send off. Meltzer added that they had verbally agreed to new deals a few weeks back but the plans had changed and Monday was the wrap up. The tease of a breakup had been the made very clear over the past few weeks and was ultimately dropped. Mark Lomonaco is 45 years old and Devon Hughes is 44 and will be interesting what their next step is.

Yeah apparently the idea was to give The Club heat and to leave the door open to a possible feud between the two should The Dudleyz ever come back
It's like Vince doesn't hear himself when he writes this insanity. Hey Vince, if you want to give The Club heat, how about you give them the belts at Summerslam rather than using your wrestling show to promote celebrities that nobody knows outside of the United States?

I'd argue with Vinces desperate plugs for some of the no names they have on that even most of those in the US sometimes wonder "Who the **** is this"?

All I wanted from the Dudleys returning back to WWE were a couple of basics and elites. We already got the battle pack and the elites are coming soon. They can kick bricks now for all I care.

If we were only getting two versions, I'd have liked a modern Basic Battlepack, then Flashback Elite versions (similar to how they released the New Age Outlaws)... seems a bit of a waste to have them both modern versions.

I would buy flashback versions but now I'm worried they won't get made. I wonder if I'll just go and buy the e45 ones now

But I doubt they will get over in WWE. In Japan they are two tough, similar looking American guys. They have a gimmick built in due to the fact that they are different. In wwe, being bald and American isn't a gimmick. Most casual pg fans don't know or care who they are and they've done a ridiculously awful job of making a casual fan care or want to care about them.

Maybe if they want them to get over they would've kept them away from New Day (one of the most over acts on the roster) at this point and should've put them against a team that can make them look good. It's going to take time to get them over completely, but with the way they've been booked in matches its like they don't want them to get over.

Only real difference between old school camo Dudleys and modern Dudleys is the amount of tattoos. I would love them to be in tye dye but no biggie to me if it don't happen. Just want some official elites instead of the homemade, overpriced eBay deals.
