Does anyone have any idea what size the production run of the exclusive figures is? Before anyone goes down the whole "they're mass produced so they aren't rare" track - I get that.
I'm just curious if anyone has an inkling

No clue. I did hear Bill say that the TRU Vince Mcmahon was the least produced figure in the line besides the limited warriors.

I asked a similar question before because I was curious how many RSC exclusives are made. But like most threads now days they just get locked with no explanation why. It's like we're not allowed to know or talk about these items that we purchased. Yes I know they're not "rare". But we should atleast be able to get an answer. What's the big secret?

I would imagine for them to be able to sell exclusives at around $27.99 they would prob have to purchase at least 2,500 pieces and that even seems a little low. 2-5k pieces each maybe?

Jakks used to have exclusive figure that were 1 of 3000, I think. So that might be a good number to start at.
Mattel seems to make more figures than Jakks, though, which is why we have so much pegwarming these days.

Heres your answer Bill, Like I said before... you guys have a lot to be proud of in terms of the quality of the figures. We're demanding fans/collectors. We aren't afraid to voice our opinions. You and your team have delivered one hell of a product to us. For that, we'll always be in your debt. I just get frustrated with some of the doublespeak/contradictory actions we seem to get around from Mattel. I'll just agree to disagree with you on certain items. The bottom line is this. We like your work. We like your hussle. We appreciate the hands-on approach you take to answering our questions. We appreciate the next evolutionary step you've made for wrestling figures. We don't need to have everything we ask for as we're a smaller niche of the overall consumer pool... I get that... but LISTEN to us and don't try to fool us. We are the customer, and I believe the customer is always right. I'm also confused as to why the design team is the group that responds to our concerns. I'd expect some PR person to be doing that. Thanks. Fair enough Weatherfan( ;D ) I'll always listen and never try to fool you. Unfortunately you guys are way sharper than we are. You guys remember everything!!! I think you will see over the next coupe of years we will do pretty much everyone we can get a license to do. There is only a finite number of legends and we intend to keep this line for a long time. By the way our minimums for figures is supposed to be 20,000 pcs. for optimum factory cost. We make numbers as low as 5,000 but we still have to pay the factory set up costs for 20,000. That's why exclusives and on line stuff is more expensive than mass items in general. (aside from shipping costs which is a whole other conversation.

With how long rsc hbk was a top seller, they either make a crap ton of them, or ringside has crap sales.
