I'm not quite sure how to link things on here. I wish I did lol. Anyway, I caught wind of the Miz doing a very good "shoot" on Daniel Bryan on Talking Smack. I immediately hopped over to the network to skip to that exact part. IMO, the best promo Miz had ever done. He ranted for a good 5 minutes, Daniel stormed off about 3 minutes in.
I'd seriously love it if Daniel storming off was legit. I doubt it but he did a fabulous job taking Miz's heat. Renee tried to cut Miz off(coincidentally as soon as he mentioned Bryan working in the bingo halls) with "that's not what this show is about." However it's called Talking Smack lol. That's exactly what Miz was doing.
Again I'm sure this was a work. However it was honestly some of the best I've seen from The Miz.

I thought it was crazy. I couldn't tell if he was legit angry or if he was just acting. The Miz really is an A-List actor.

The Miz's magnum opus in this business so far. I feel dirty for getting worked by the Miz ,of all people, on one hand. On the other hand , its a great example of just how good a heel he really can be. Sadly he'll probably be doing the same old schtick next Tuesday with no sign of this masterpiece of a "worked shoot" serving to be nothing more than a glimpse of what he is capable of.

I hope Jericho showed up wanting answers for if it was a shoot or not.

That was absolute gold. I tuned in right as he demanded the close up, then restarted the show from the top. The whole show was good but Miz rrrrreeally took it to another level

The whole show was good but Miz rrrrreeally took it to another level I agree 100%. i mean clearly this was part of the show. However I'm wanting whole heartedly to believe that The Miz took it a little too far and Daniel legit stormed off. I mean did anyone notice as soon as Miz said "Indy" Renee tried to cut him off. Clearly she is linked up to whoever is feeding her lines. I feel like they went "woah too far! Don't mention indies on this show!" Lol. I mean as much as WWE has "opened up" to mentioned other organizations, there is still that clear line that they obviously don't like crossing. Especially on a little show like this.

I hope Jericho showed up wanting answers for if it was a shoot or not. /dead That was the funniest thing I've read all day... kudos. But seriously... I think this was Miz just doing what he does. His passion for the business is obvious and I find his tendency to slightly flub about half of the lines to be a charming quirk. More promos like this (and Jericho's "IT."), less meticulously-scripted Roman Reigns promos please.

And FWIW Daniel Bryan was knocking at the door of having a really interesting, legitimate kayfabe criticism of The Miz's in-ring style and character... he should have chastised Miz for bending/breaking the rules to beat Crews at Summerslam instead of this vague "wrestles like a coward" that seemed like it was being said from the perspective of a Strong Style performer and not the current GM of the show.
Overall this was the best thing WWE's done in these post-Summerslam shows. Hopefully the altercation gets a lot of play next week on Smackdown (and not just in the form of Apollo Crews getting a rematch and murking the Miz en route to winning the title from him so the Miz can make The Marine 33 1/3).

The whole talking Smack was amazing. The selling of carmella attacking Nikki by Renee and Bryan was incredible. The Miz and Bryan shoot was insane. That's exactly how you blur the lines of reality. Fantastic stuff. Although I really do hope that Bryan storming off was part of the plan.
You see that's when you know it's good! They get you asking all sorts of questions about it and leave you wondering if it was straight up shoot or planned.

i still dont understand why people dislike The Miz
dude has more passion for this business than most people and isn't that ALL we (the fans) really want from these guys? Miz is damn good in the ring, he's good at cutting promos, he's good at all the other stuff the company loves. He is just an all around great wrestler.

Chew on that for a minute folks. Well the Carmella/Nikki segment had a real feel to it, the usos actually discussed the fans hating them, and that Miz/Bryan thing looked like a shoot. Talking smack was better than raw.

I agree completely. Lol.....my point is a post show network only wrap up show probably shouldn't be more entertaining than the company's flagship broadcast.

Not sure how much of that as legit, but it was damn awesome.
I'm sure you're all aware by now that Bryan is pretty much my hero, but holy crap Miz was on point and definitely "won" the battle here.

Haven't seen it but with so much filler on the main show, why can't they have this on the actual show with a bigger audience? I have to turn the tv off at some point. WWE can't expect us to be watching 24/7. They have so much filler just so they can have a ton of content. Trim the fat. Quality over quantity.

I don't understand what his point was. That Daniel Bryan is a bad guy because his career had to be cut short due to severe neck issues?
