WWE should just book Reigns as a true heel. WWE needs a heel that can draw legit heel heat. Wade Barrett in 2010/Nexus is the last example of that.

I want it to be Owens really badly. I'm ok with Rollins. Cass is filler here obviously but its a good test for him. Reigns winning would bring all the backlash and then some right back to him and I have no interest in that, or seeing him on top again any time soon until they do something different with his character.

I think WWE is really missing the boat by not pulling the trigger on a Reigns heel turn. Let's be honest, if you see the tweets Reigns send out, he naturally comes across as a douche. Imagine if they let him fully embrace that while being a heel monster that tears through the opposition? The guy would be a legit, money drawing heel.

In the long run though, yeah he should definitely be heel.

I think Rollins is the way to go. But there's no believable babyfaces he can work with right now.

When I was watching RAW, I was hoping Chris Jericho went against someone that wasn't Reigns or Rollins because those guys obviously get to the title match whenever they're fighting for one.
Chris Jericho would've been the best way to go with the title and I was saying it the night of RAW. Jericho is an established superstar and he's a good guy to have on top. I mean, he was the first Undisputed Champion so why not make him the first actual reigning Universal Champion?
Reigns is the best choice for champion with who is in the match, but tons of people hate on him for whatever reason... Another Rollins reign could be almost as bad as his crap reign last year... Big Cass isn't a world champ just yet... And Kevin Owens is definitely not a world champion yet either.
This is why Jericho should've been in it. He's fresh and is already an established world champion, so he would've been the obvious choice for me.

I'm hoping since everybody is prob expecting Rollins or Reigns to walk out champ, they throw us a curve ball & KO wins, dude has almost complete package, awesome on mic/commentary, wrestling skill, decent look, only thing he lacks is buff or cut physique

WWE needs a transitional champion right now and Jericho wouldve been perfect for that role. Rollins lost at SS for that very belt, It would be dumb if he won it a week later. Reigns was just feuding with Rusev over the US belt a week ago but WWE will pretend that didnt happen. Cass, no comment, Dude is green as grass and needs to stay in a tag team with Enzo for the foreseeable future. Owen's first reign shouldnt be wasted on a throwaway match for a vacant title. Thats why it wouldve been nice for Jericho to win it.

I think Owens deserves it. You could have Jericho help him win and in return feel like he's owed a title shot, which could get a solid match between them for the title.

A brief Jericho title run would be awesome

Honestly, I think it'll be Owens simply because of the fact that he hasn't won the championship and people have been wanting it for a while. Seth just lost the title so it doesn't make sense, they were rebuilding Roman and he'll get booed if he wins again and there's no way Cass is winning. Rusev should disqualify Roman from the match, from there on let the other fight.

I'd be willing to bet everyone that says they'll stop watching Raw if Reigns wins will still watch if he wins.
That's pretty much the same stuff everyone has said before and the ones who said they would or did stop watching sure never missed a beat on what was going on.

I'd love for Owens to win. But I think they need to build him up properly before a run with the belt.
I think Rollins needs it the most. He's been looking less and less credible because of how many unsuccessful title matches he's had. He's gotten like 5 championship matches since being back and couldn't get the job done.
The only problem is that there is no believable babyface that can feud with Rollins other than Reigns.

Fans who realistically think Kevin Owens is main event tier right now are obviously letting their blind fandom get in the way of realistic thinking. Obviously Seth or Roman to everyone's disgust.

Finn Balor just got pushed to the moon so why are people saying Owens isn't there yet? He's just as there as the others

I voted for Owens as that's who I want to win.
I thin Rollins, my second choice, is more likely though.

I really agree that it should've been Jericho. I don't know how long he's planning on sticking around, but I feel like if Jericho had gotten it they could've built to Jericho vs Owens, with Jericho going face and Owens possibly injuring him with the apron powerbomb to send him packing for awhile, thus winning his first title in memorable fashion...but they had to put f#cking Reigns in there, so Reigns is going to win and it's going to absolutely suck. Even without Jericho they did it in the most sterile manner possible. Cass has zero chance, so he shouldn't even be in the match. Having Rusev would've at least continued his feud with Reigns in a tangential way, and given him a good boast about how he's going to be the first US/Universal champion, which would in turn allow a little verbal interplay with Rollins (the ONLY World/US champion), and actually create a pretty heated three-person situation. Owens could then create his own heat about how he's the one they should all be worried about or even have Jericho in his corner to create intrigue for himself going in.
