Will be picking up for sure, just wish mattel would use new characters, this is the 2nd DM Cena, and the next one is another Flair, 2 stings, 2 stone colds, 2 takers, 2 warriors, 2 stings. Are there no other DM worthy wrestlers?

Are there no other DM worthy wrestlers? Every wrestler has a Defining Moment in their career. This set is more about the iconic superstars and legends of the wrestling world opposed to actual moments. The only wrestlers I see being included are Sting, Undertaker, Flair, Rock, Austin, Triple H, Shawn Michaels, John Cena, Bret Hart, Hulk Hogan (hopefully in the future), Macho Man, Ultimate Warrior That's sadly about it, you then hit the second tier of guys like Kane, Jericho, Orton, Nash, and Foley. I think this DM line is past the point of using Razor and Steamboat btw.

I would like this a lot more if they didn't cheap out on the "Jersey" I'm okay with the plastic but they left SO MUCH detail off of it. It's horrible to look at.

Different time. A lot of things in society were acceptable back then that aren't now. It's fine that you don't want to admit that Mattel was just lazy here, but please stop grasping at straws. Who at Mattel was "lazy" here, and lazy how? Are you suggesting that Bill just said "I don't feel like doing that work today" or something? Or that the factory workers just didn't feel like putting in the effort? Think about what you post before you post it.

I can only type it out for you, I can't make you understand it...so save that "tough guy card" for someone it will work on. If they couldn't or didn't want to give us the proper jersey, then they should have gone with a different look. Very simple. A lot of people could have looked past the fact that the jersey was plastic if it had looked right. As I posted before in this very thread: The jersey is incorrect, the face doesn't look like Cena, the torso is wrong, and the figure is overpriced. If you don't think that cutting corners like that is lazy, then you need to look up the definition of lazy. It would have been a poor figure in the Elite line, in the DM line it's a joke.

Even if Cena's jersey was painted fully, someone would've complained that he didn't wear it in that time frame of his career (before you start, this is based on his early/mid 2004 when he was US champion. The jersey was when he was WWE Champion in 2005)

As it is, it's not even a jersey...it's a black sleeveless shirt with a 54 on the front and back. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

We all know they can't use actual NBA jerseys. It's insulting they'd half ass an actual jersey they could recreate.

It's insulting they'd half ass an actual jersey they could recreate. couple of things: 1. the Eddie HOF figure was when he was in the Attitude Era, so it's not really a mashup figure. 2. i've seen people have a fit over the millimeters difference on Tyler Breeze's arm wraps, this would be child's play and 3. if they couldn't have recreated the jersey, they could've done this instead: it's not accurate, but it would've been a better choice to do

I don't know how the toy aisles will find room for this with all the Ultimate Maniacs Warriors around. They are not moving in my area.

That'd be a good Angle sculpt if they ever sign him.

I know this may seem like a odd question, but are the ankles tight on this figure? All of the older Cena's I had with this mold the ankles were super loose. Seconded. I was checking the comments to see if anyone mentioned it. All my old Cenas with these shoes were a nightmare. I'd go in my office regularly to have to pick up all the figures Cena would take down with him as his floppy ankles gave way. Unfortunately, yes. The ankle joint is the same as the old ones.

Crap, I was really hoping they would tighten them up like they did all the boot sculpts. Those old ones would be fine, sometimes even as long as a year. I think that's how long I had elite 11 without incident. Then one day, boom. Loose. I never could get him to stand without propping him against the side or back of my case.
