I forgot to mention that my cousin met Llana Becker at her Granddaughter's birthday party. Llana is a friend of her daughter in law and she unplugged my Cousin's crock pot in order to charge her cell phone. In case you don't know who Llana Becker is, she is the actress who played the Big Lots exclamation point

I met Lou Ferrigno and Adam West as a kid. Don't remember much but I do remember Lou's hand being gigantic.

I've not met a ton of celebs. Angle and Sammartino during Pittsburgh gatherings, I've met a lot of politicians though, a couple of whom are pretty big. So I suppose there is that.

-- Here's my pt. 2 from before...
(I'm including wrestlers, met before I broke into the business)
2000: Shane Helms - on the set of Ready To Rumble (I worked as an extra) Brian May - in front of the Chinese Theater in Hollywood Bruce Kulick (fr. KISS), Izzy Stradin (fr. G&R) - competed in a guitar contest at Guitar Center in Hollywood, they were 2 of the 3 judges.
2003: Talked to Dan Severn over the phone for the first time, about coming in to train at Michigan Sports Camps *Officially met him in person in 2006, when I stayed at his facility and he not only became a trainer/mentor, but he's become a friend. Just called him up last month actually & shot the breeze.
2005: Brock Lesnar - at BSC for a charity golf event; ironically, I asked him if he missed running ropes and he said yeah. News broke out the next day, that he and Vince had talked on the phone later that night. Not saying I influenced anything, but I might've inadvertently gotten the wheels turning in his head, somewhat.
2006: Molly Holly & Lenny Lane - at my very first indy show, as a fan.
(when breaking in, got to share rings/locker rooms with guys like Jimmy Jacobs, Dan Severn, Michael Tarver, Lenny Lane, Dakota Darsow, Arik Cannon, Arya Daivari, Buck Zumehof, and the last time I was in the ring before retiring, was a TNA Gutcheck which also included Chad Gable - that D'lo Brown was running).
After retirement, got to meet several more wrestlers down in Dallas over WM weekend.
And lastly, infamous LSU coach Dale Brown, is a family friend. Dale's the man who introduced the world to an unknown who'd become Shaquille O'Neal. In fact, when I heard Shaq was training in MMA, I was waiting for an announcement from him if he was going to pursue the sport. My idea was, since I had more MMA training than pro wrestling training, I could challenge Shaq to debut vs debut fight - since our connection is Dale Brown, whom Shaq is still pretty close with. Obviously, he never pursued it and I got sick 3wks after the TNA tryout. The rest, as they say, is history.

I've met quite a few, off head: The cast of Married With Children: I did a walk on as an extra and got to meet everyone and they were just the greatest bunch of people. Christina Applegate was hotter in person then she was ever on TV. I got a hug from Katy Sagal and Ed O'Neill was just cool, he makes the word cool. Faustino was funny. George Carlin. I did his show as an extra and he was very soft spoken and very nice. Joey, Dee Dee, Marky, C.J Ramone. Met them over the years at various concerts and after stuff. Joey was so tall and very nice but quite. Dee Dee gave me his pick and we shared a joint. lol Marky was very nice and C.J was just so awesome. He's very funny. Personally I knew Roddy Piper, now he wasn't my best friend or anything close to that, but I met him a bunch of times and he didn't remember my name but knew me. After I told him my name he remembered, I don't hold that against him lol, he did wrestle for all those years and wasn't all together. I know his kids through some things I did for his old website and I talk to them via Twitter. Elisabeth Shue and I made out in LA back in 1994. I was there to get into acting and I did some late night shoot with Eleanor Mondale and her brother was there as well, not Andrew but the other one, I forgot his name. Anyway this was before "Leaving Las Vegas" and we are on Hollywood and Vine and we hit it off and spent a couple of hours with each other. So there we are making out and it was really good but then the shoot was over and they had to go and in the chaos of the crew striking the set they were taken away. Ugh! Cell phones weren't really around or I would have gotten her number and who knows!?!?! She kisses great! I met: Billy Jerk Haynes King Kong Bundy Scott Hall Bozo The Clown The music group Garbage Kiss Norman Fell. Mr. Roper from "Three's Company." He died two weeks later. I met Larry Linville at an air port in Tampa. He was Frank Burns from MASH. Green Day. I swear Billie Joe tried to pick me up and take me home! I swear! PJ Soles from Halloween and Rock and Roll High School. The lead singer from the Plain White T's saw me in a play and afterwards he told me how great I was. Since then I've seen him at a coffee shop near me from time to time. there are tons more. LOL You have the rest of that Marriesd with children story? Were you visible on the episode? What was it like? That's my all time favorite show so i am pretty jealous lol As far as celebs i know. I know someone who was on a VH1 reality show. We talk pretty regularly but i haven't seen her in a while. She is actually a really great person and while people used to recognize her she always stayed humble about it. Other than that i have met a TON of football players over the years. A good amount of wrestlers too. Oh i used to be really good friends with Jay Lethal. He was even at my house a few times lol.

It was pretty cool how my friend and I got to be on the show. We were at Universal Studios that morning just walking around and this girl who worked there came up to us and asked if we wanted to see a taping of a TV show, she didn't say which one, and of course no matter what it was going to be we said yes. The few days before we saw "The George Carlin Show" taped as well as a read though with "Home Improvement", lol I got to sit at the counter in their kitchen, anyway when we got to the studio we found out it was for Married with Children! We were happy and we were dressed in regular clothes and one of the producers just came up to us, we were sitting front row in the middle, and asked us if we wanted to be an extra. Hell yea! It was the episode where the lady got kicked out of the shoe store for breastfeeding and Al turned it into a men's shoe store. We got to walk in the background of the mall past the shoe store! 100% honest, I have not seen the episode yet. I'm afraid to see that we were cut or something. lol But after the shooting which was amazing to see. They only did it once. Carlin did the same show twice. They were such pros that they didn't mess up a line or anything. The only time he production was stopped when Al made his entrance. The people just went crazy! He had to stop and waved to everyone then it was business. After the show we were allowed to stay backstage to watch the monitors of them taping the rest of the show. After Ed O'Neill came up to us and said hi, it was so so cool. He asked where we were from and we said Chicago and we just had a nice conversation about The Cubs and him shooting the movie "Dutch". Katy Sagal came by and said hi and she asked if we had fun and stuff like that. She was just so nice but that make up was caked on! Small talk and whatnot and she gave me a nice hug and had to go. Applegate was nice, we said hi to her and she stayed for a few seconds and she said thank you for being there and then went on to do whatever she had to do. That's the thing. They all said thank you. We saw some of the other actors like the guy who played Griff and the rest of No Mam'. Amanda Bearse was there but we didn't see her or Ted McGinley, ugh he would have been cool to meet. As we were leaving David Faustino was walking around and he told us we did a good job "walking". lol it was funny, not a smart ass way. He talked to us for a while and we were talking about music and one of his buddies band, I cannot remember the name of it. Faustino was the best. Cracking one liners and "picking" on the crew, again, all in good fun as they were doing the same to him. After a few minutes it was like talking to an old friend instead of an actor. It was very comfortable. We talked with him for at least 15 minutes or more. Then we left. It was an experience I'll never forget. I loved the show before going there but loved it more after meeting everyone. The crew, the talent, hell the ushers were the coolest people you could ever hope to meet. Class acts all the way.

It was next to the shoe store set. I do remember it was a lot smaller then I thought it would be. Didn't see any other sets like the garage. I keep on trying to think, I don't know if Buck was there either. I don't think it was when Lucky was on the show. As for what I was wearing. I know it was just regular jeans and I want to say it was a white button up shirt, not a polo or a dress shirt, it was more like a cotton shirt. Wow, I was 22!!! I feel so freaking old now! I cannot remember what my friend was wearing as a shirt, but he was in jeans as well. I want to say it was a green t-shirt.

I've only met two celebrities. Seen many in person at a toy convention I go to, but only bothered to meet two of them.
First was Rowdy Roddy Piper. He was so nice. I almost didn't go up because I didn't want to have to pay to meet him. But then I thought of how random Randy Savage's death was and how I may never get another chance to meet Piper. Turns out I was more right than I ever expected.
The other was Matt Striker. We just bs'ed about wrestling for ten or so minutes. It was right after WMxXx, so he was telling me he had heard Taker had suffered a concussion during the match with Brock and that they called an audible. Then we talked about his commentary and how he used to get in trouble for calling the moves. Before I left I asked him if the internet was right about Triple H. Figured he'd know more than anyone here. He told me Triple H is so very kind in real life. Told me he was a sweet man. He put over how great he was in the ring and to work with in the back.

I've never met anyone outside of actual meet and greet situations. Saying that though I have met a bunch of wrestlers. This year one of the local promotions in Edmonton brought in Jay Lethal to wrestle a really good match against Lance Storm. So when I went to Death Before Dishonor in Vegas, I met Jay Lethal and let him know that I met him a couple months ago and really enjoyed his match that night and was looking forward to his match with Adam Cole. He asked me where I was from and I told him Edmonton. He thought about it for a bit and was like "oh yeah, the Lance Storm match!" He thanked me for coming down. Just the nicest guy ever. All the wrestlers I've met have been super rad.
Victoria signed my Cubs hat and we had a chat about how the Cubs were doing. I honestly had no idea she was such a big Cubs fan. I didn't have anything for her to sign though so I just asked if she would be willing to sign my hat.
And I met Alice Cooper at a comic expo meet and greet. I had him sign my copy of Welcome To My Nightmare, explaining to him that Nightmare was probably the first Rock album I remember listening to with my parents. He told me I had some rotten parents. Haha just a really rad guy.
But yeah, no experiences meeting people outside of meet and greets. I'm just worried about being intrusive. I did see John Petrucci and Jordan Rudess walking down the street when I was in Boston to see their show. That was the closest I got, didn't stop them or anything though.

I am good friends with Joey Diaz (comedian, in films Longest Yard remake, Spiderman 2, Grudge Match), honest to god one of the nicest guys you will ever meet. Was going through a rough patch in 2011 and soeone on here mentioned him as hilarious, so I looked him up and he truly was one of if not the funniest people alive. So I tweeted him once randomly and he responded conversationally, added me as a friend and we often keep in touch through email and calls. Any time he is within a 3 hour radius, he always hooks me up with a ticket and we usually enjoy herbal activities and shoot the breeze afterwards.
I have met:
Mick Foley (Walking near Ford Field pre WM23, and a cab almost ran me over, who else opens the door than Dude Love, I was too star struck to say anything right away, so he apologized for the driver and shook my hand) Nikki Bella Jon Hamm Andrew McCutchen (Married to a girl I lived next to in college) Matt Adams (St Louis Cardinals; went to Slippery Rock University with him and had a few classes with him) Kurt Angle LeBron James (Played our H.S. while he was in school, my dad was good friends with our coach/principal, and we got to meet him) Franco Harris (Multiple times) Tony Dorsett (At PITT/PSU this year)

I got to meet Bret Hart which was pretty awesome, maybe 9 years ago or so. It was at a little wrestling show but I got his autograph and spoke to him briefly nonetheless.

Phil Campbell from Motörhead bought me a couple of drinks last night. Top guy.
I've met/know quite a lot more because of where I work but that one brought a smile to my face.
