Now don't all lynch me for saying this but what if Cena eventually winning the title off styles is a good thing?
Why? Because if AJ'S run goes from now all the way until RR as a minimum or up to mania, there's no doubt the audience will probably turn on him like they are with Ambrose, I know he's a heel so he's supposed to get boo'd, but you know what I mean.
By having Cena finally get his 16th reign as world champion, he takes all the heat off guys like Dean and possibly AJ. Then one of them two has another chance to go over against Cena and win it back off him, which would happen at some point and they get the rub, making them fresh again.
I know that's a weird way of looking at the situation, was just a thought. Regardless though, Cena on TV is better than no Cena. Although I would prefer he feud with Miz and become a grand slam champion,(excluding the universal title)

Don't matter if you think their character is stale, or if they should be part timers, or if you think they suck. Cena on his quest for his 16th title is huge! Now I do think styles should hold the belt longer and maybe mock John about having what he can't accomplish. I do think it would be cool (go ahead a voice your hateful opinions) if Cena wins the title at the Rumble and then goes on to face Undertaker at wrestlemania in a career vs wwe championship match.

Don't have Cena win the Rumble. Have a Raw guy do it and Cena finds another way (tournament or something) to get the Smackdown title shot at Mania. He can beat AJ there. Cena gets the historic 16th, AJ gets a long run with the title and still holds a 2-1 lead over Cena.

Everything I just said was me looking at it in the only positive way for Dean and AJ if Cena was going to become WWE champion at survivor series. The only problem with the idea of Cena facing AJ at WM is that I'm guessing they're still going to try and give us Cena/Taker. Either way, it's a matter of when, rather than if AJ loses to Cena, which in my opinion wouldn't hurt AJ at all, like you said, he'd still be 2-1 against Cena and he is already well established as a WWE main event superstar now.

So I just started this weeks episode.
Cena/Ambrose/AJ is a good idea. And judging by the first segment with those three we're in for a good feud here.
I really hope that this leads to Ambrose or Cena turning heel though. I'd prefer Dean but either one would be good for me.
Dean just needs it bad right now. He needs a creative kick in the ass and I think a heel turn would do just that.

Although I would prefer he feud with Miz and become a grand slam champion,(excluding the universal title) That's what I'm worried of. I'm worried it's another situation similar to when CM Punk & Daniel Bryan were both simultaneous Champions, but during the middle of the year, so that come Wrestlemania season they can put the focus back onto Cena, Triple H etc. I'm just afraid they're using Styles, Owens now to carry the company and keep the diehard fans on board during the middle of the year to get them to Wrestlemania. It all means nothing if they get stripped of their titles by then though, fall back to the back of the shuffle. It's the same as having AJ go over Cena twice. At first, it looked like Cena had done a huge favour putting over AJ clean like he did. But once again, it appears like they just did it to build AJ up, elevate him as much as they could, so that in the end they could put the strap on him and have Cena avenge his loss only this time for the Championship.
