Huh. I didn't notice the Regal boot thing before...but there it is on Ringside's photo as well. He did wear high socks under his boots sometimes...but that's not what's reflected here. They literally just painted the top of the boot white instead of giving him the maroon boots and painting a white strip on the flesh. Wow. Corner cut, eh?

Dude, the back of Devon's neck made me fall off my chair, I was dying of laughter. Anyways, quality is going down, they're cheapening out on the figures and worst of all we're getting subpar figures for DMs. *waits for the idiots who constantly say "don't like it don't buy it" to chime in and defend qc issues.

I'm assuming that the quality control is a sign that WWE will not renew their deal with Mattel when it ends.. But IDK what's going on.
The Dudleys were must haves for me.. Unless they plan on making flashback Dudleys, this is the set I wanna get.
Between that, Samoa Joe and AJ Styles.. Some of the upcoming figures are long time wants for me.. Sucks people are once again having issues.

All Seths are like that. They're not painted the way it's molded, they painted their own lines to reflect in real life and just used the old shirt mold. Hes talking paint on Lex, glue on Rollins. Do you not see the blob of glue on Seths forehead where the hair line is? This bums me out. E43 was the first set Ive experienced lots of flawed figures, and that was just paint apps/quality control. Now we have crappy elbows, and glue everywhere...

What the hell were they thinking with Regal's boots? Ugh. Hopefully there's a running change to fix that? PLEASE?

Yup, keep paying crazy $ for preorders guys... I usually scroll pass what you say because I immediately read what you say in Cornette's voice and it's annoy, but you raise a good point. I rarely pre-order figures or sets, but after receiving Elite 43 pre-retail I will never do that again. As for Elite 45, it's a solid set for me, but I'm thinking I'll have to retail hunt wrestling figures. Sad to see that Dvon. My TNF Rock was like that. Because of how Rock sets in the box, the right side of his neck was visible and had no flaws. Out of the box, the left seem was noticeable black.

Knew one day this would happen. Gutted...
Same thing happened to the DC line.

I don't think it was a cutting corners attempt. I just think someone at the factory F'ed up and painted the socks onto the boots instead of the legs. If it was a corner cutting attempt there probably wouldn't be any white.

I think the reason that this happened is same reason Summerslam Heritage Undertaker has only one elbow pad and tattoos on the wrists, like the old 2011 Regal Elite blueprint used certain boots, so even if the deco design doesn't fit, the same parts will be used regardless. I really hope it gets fixed because it looks baaad.

I've been saying for so long that Mattel's quality control is terrible. I recently bought the Elite Kevin Owens and I had to go through three different returns before I said screw it they're all bad. Amazon shipped the first one with a broken arm joint, the second one where the shirt had a giant silver blotch on the front, and the third one has a broken ankle joint but I'm done trying to do returns. I'm just not buying the figures anymore unless I see it in person.

Yup, keep paying crazy $ for preorders guys... Been noticing a lot of the QC complaints are preorders. Too much of coincidence of it being isolated incident. 1st run figures str aight off the production line seem to be more problematic and reorders fall in that category. People laugh at those who still shop via retail but at least we get to see if a figure is quality or screwed with our eyes instead of hoping for a good one. I don't think people laugh at people for their shopping preference. However, do this that Mattle is seeing consistent gains that QC isn't an issue to them. What really needs to be done is going to the Mattel website, complain about the issues, and personally say enough is enough, "I'm done with Mattel Elites" I had a conversation with a GameStop employee about new games being $48 at other places. He said that if enough people do the comment surveys and stop pre-ordering a GameStop, they'd be forced to listen. However, being 45 series into elites, and 6 years into Mattel collecting, it's a lot easy to say it but a lot harder to do it.

I was going to start a thread about my experience last week but didn't because I didn't feel like being called a liar by a select few. When I was at Wal-Mart last week I ran into a Mattel Rep in the toy aisle.Very nice and friendly guy. He saw me comparing paint on a few TNF The rocks. All he said was yeah the paint issues are awful and they are looking into it.At least they know about this problem. I literally showed him like 10 messed up Bam Bams and he genuinely seemed disgusted. Will anything change? I doubt it. And I left all the TNF rocks there as everyone had paint issues on the white lettering.

Man, this really sucks. I was planning on getting the whole set too. Not sure what I'll be buying from these now. Glad I didn't preorder. I was kind of against preordering and now I'm thinking it's going to be permanent for me.

Not liking this QC trend. There are some real home run figures shown at SDCC and I'd hate to see them suffer this sort of fate.

More like Chinese Pay Raise. The moment the factory workers start to get an almost living wage, the issues start to raise. Guess it's time to take away that extra dime increase.
