Well if either of them do it will be to bring some of their wrestlers over and the tape library. Sinclair may be buying the tennis channel so if they buy TNA, they can buy a lot of the wrestlers contracts for a big roster and they can do a best of TNA series show.

My guess its mainly for that TNA video library!
Can't have an AJ Styles DVD release without his early TNA stuff on it. And not just AJ, but a lot of talent that is in the WWE now made a huge name for themselves in TNA. Vince would love to have all that video footage now.

Please no. I want TNA and WWE, not TNA absorbed into WWE.

Definitely for the video library. There is nothing else in TNA worth buying.

Please no. I want TNA and WWE, not TNA absorbed into WWE. Yeah, especially as it'll more than likely put Rex out of a job again. On that note - Impact was really good this week. First wrestling show in a good long while where I've sat through the whole thing.

WWE would love to have that tape library of course. Network programming is as much a priority as new talent these days. Also, even though we fans know of the TNA accomplishments of Styles, Joe ,Roode etc, this would help to further establish those stars in the eyes of newer fans by bolstering the backstory of those guys. Not to mention ancillary reasons such as making it possible for a guy like Matt Hardy to return under his Broken Matt gimmick, making it possible for Mattel to make Flashbacks of guys in their TNA attires (Styles,Joker Sting) ,and getting former TNA talents to sign Legends/merch deals for us to see figures of guys who would otherwise never have a chance at a Mattel release such as Christopher Daniels or Abyss. All that being said, its still unfortunate if another company closes and theres less places for guys to work.

As soon as it says TNA is worth 40 million I find myself questioning everything it says. wCw with all it's lineage & library was only like 4 mil.

Well to be fair, TNA still has a television deal. wCw had nowhere else to go and the owners wanted to sell and have no part in wrestling. It sounds to me like Corgan still wants to remain in the wrestling business.

If TNA finally gets bought out i really hope its Sinclair Broadcasting and not the WWE.If sincalir buys TNA you can merge it with ROH and possibly have a viable number two pro wrestling company in the world and one that could be somewhat of a threat to WWE in time.
You combine the roster of ROH & TNA and if they have more money backing the company which I would assume would be the case if they buy the Tennis channel you could also possibly bring in a few bigger names to real put the roster over the top.
Just think of a roster of Hardy Boyz,Cole,Briscoes,Lashley,EC3,Abyss,McIntrye,Rhodes,Bennett,Elgin,Lethal...ect and still working with NJPW would be pretty sick.

No. Just, no. TNA has been doing a really good job of becoming a fun alternative again. Brother Kennedy must be deleted.

As soon as it says TNA is worth 40 million I find myself questioning everything it says. wCw with all it's lineage & library was only like 4 mil. Only thing I can think of is inflation over the years. If WCW was still around today I have to believe it's be worth way more than 40 million. I hope this is true, haven't watched TNA regularly in years. I turned it on randomly a few weeks ago and it just seemed like a train wreck. I would much rather see a final Hardyz run in WWE, and possible NXT runs from McIntyre, EC3, and maybe a few others. Also the video library for the network would be huge. With guys like AJ and Joe in the spotlight, guys like Roode on the rise, and guys like Angle, Nash, Christian, Sting, Booker, etc... All having history there, it'd be a solid addition to their library and network.
