I don't understand why they would bother buying their video library, purely because it means they will be continuously advertising TNA and especially for that price. Theres no benefit in buying TNA either, once it's under the WWE umbrella it has to be PG and would be watered down. These are some of the big names that WWE could capitalize on who had stints or had a few runs in TNA Sting Macho Man Randy Savage Ric Flair Hulk Hogan Booker T Roddy Piper Dusty Rhodes Mick Foley Kurt Angle Bob Backlund Joey Matthews Ricky Steamboat CM Punk Jim Cornette Hacksaw Jim Duggan Scott Hall Kevin Nash Jimmy Hart Mr. Perfect Road Dogg The Dudleyz Brian Kendrick Chyna Paul Bearer Harley Race I just think WWE should be more concerned with their own current product than spending a stupid amount of money just to kill another company and have their video library on the network. I don't think it would really bring in that many more network subs. Its useful to own for sure, it doesn't appeal to me at all though.

Hell, they need to get all of THEIR content on the Network before they worry about another company's media.

I can distinctly remember when i quit watching TNA. It was right aftr BFG 2013. That was their peak for me. After that it all started going down hill. Magnus as champ. Styles gone. Sting gone. X division was already destroyed. Samoa Joe gone. It just kept on and on. I would love to see the library on the network for the years i enjoyed. Their def were times between 07 and 2013 that i enjoyed more than WWE. But i also feel like their finally getting some momentum back and would like to see them do well. Im fine either way i guess.

I reckon the library is a good call but they may also want to use it as another feeder outfit. Maybe they have their eye on that aspect too?

As soon as it says TNA is worth 40 million I find myself questioning everything it says. wCw with all it's lineage & library was only like 4 mil. $40m in real money is £30.6m. If Paul Pogba is worth £89m and has been nothing but shambolic since his return, TNA can be worth £30.6m. The other thing to consider is that TNA has an American telly deal as well as a large network of telly deals all over the world. WCW was without a station and no one was willing to bring it into the fold, so it was worth nothing. In reality, WCW had all but shut itself by the time WWF bought it. I say, pay what it takes to get the video library and trademarks, let the TNA wrestlers that are worth a damn go to ROH and the rest can find a job at ASDA.

1. If it means we'll get EC3 & "Broken" Matt Hardy figures...... I'm on board.....
2. If Cody Rhodes & Damian Sandow signed with TNA..... & WWE buys TNA..... does that make them WWE employees again? Does Cody Rhodes "quit" again?
3. The video library would be great, we're missing about 15 years of Sting's career.... among several others....
4. Could they do a "TNA" Invasion right? They've hit some home runs with NXT & CWC..... maybe there's hope for a proper invasion? Or, a TNA VS. NXT war could be interesting? Many possibilities here....

If it means them acquiring full control over the TNA video library, I'm all for it. Would love some WWE released TNA compilations, anthology box sets and of course all that content on the Network.

If TNA is bought by WWE then where do all the TNA guys go huh? They can go to either NJPW or ROH but either way some of them I can see in WWE but the rest I can see them going to NJPW, ROH or hell they could go to GFW

I don't see this happening. Yeah, I know we never saw WWE buying WCW as possible either, but WCW was at one point legit competition. TNA never was and never will be competition to WWE.
There's no money to be made in a TNA invasion. TNA has like 3 guys on their entire roster that WWE would even be interested in....like it says a couple of posts above, being able to do AJ Styles, Samoa Joe, and maybe Sting and Bobby Roode DVD's would be the only worthwhile thing, and that's not worth the MILLIONS it would cost to acquire the TNA library.

Don't see what happening? It did happen. They put a bid on it. It was low, and is basically already forgotten about as 3 other companies are fighting for it. Billy Corgan, Alora (or someone like that) and one other company.

If we get to see Sasha Banks vs Gail Kim I'm 10000000000000000000000000000% down for it.

It would be worth it if WWE bought it to run as an actual company......and build it up with their umbrella as a viable brand......eventually leading to some cross promotional feuds etc etc.
