Personally for me I haven't turned on him. However Creative has and it's really hurt him on TV. He's just not as entertaining as he was pre-title. I still love him but right now I think a heel turn is what he needs to break through to that next level. And it seems like that's exactly where we're heading......unless they do the impossible and turn Cena. Pretty much sums up what I was thinking. I believe a heel turn could really benefit Ambrose right now. As long as they don't water the crazy down too much.

thinking about it kayfabe wise, why did it take Dean so long to come out? Well he's crazy. Plus based on past events his ride didn't drop him off in time.

I'm a big Ambrose fan and I think he can be used better but I think he's been stale most of the year due to his booking. Only times he got a chance to turn it up was the build for his match against Brock, and the week of MITB (and maybe that good promo with Ziggler). Other than that he has had some awful cringe worthy promos, and not much else going on. He also had two really disappointing matches against Brock and Ziggler on the two biggest shows of the year though Brock is probably to blame for the WM Match.
I think it might be time for him to turn Heel after No Mercy to freshen things up. He might end up being better than ever.

For me, personally, I couldn't get behind him as champion because he has always screamed "mid-carder" to me. Then the way he came across on the Stone Cold podcast just really soured me on him altogether. It was 100% on Austin. He entered that podcast with the sole intention to tear Ambrose apart and make him look bad. Who cares about his personal life the questions should've involved wrestling.

Honestly, I think Austin is to blame. He verbally buried Ambrose on the podcast. Some fans started watching wrestling due to Austin and they hold his opinion as the almighty truth. I could be wrong but it seems like from that moment on, the crowd wasn't as behind Ambrose as they used to be. I remember a few years ago Jericho said something negative about the Attitude Era and for a few months after that people jumped on the band wagon and started hating on it. Also you do have a point from that podcast that's when the crowd changed and the fact that Cena brought it up makes me wonder if the pitch forks are out backstage.

Though WWE would never do it.

Ambrose was much better as the "stop burying him, he should be main eventing" guy than he is as the actual main eventing guy. He just doesn't look, sound or carry himself like the world champion. So he's got that going against him.
At least before, you could think "Wouldn't it be great if Dean Ambrose was WWE champion?" Now, we know the answer. No, no it wouldn't be.

Ambrose had lots of ideas for the match but Brock and Vince shut it down. Also facing mid card Ziggler as his first feud didn't help things either. Im going to be honest Ambrose's problem is that he isn't Vince's type. Vince loves men in suits with corporate looks and Ambrose isn't one of those type of guys. Its sad really because Ambrose is a huge merch seller and Vince would rather cut off his nose despite his face.

I think since becoming Champion he's become somewhat arrogant and it appears it's gotten to his head a little. His attitude is cocky, he doesn't evolve his image and I've definitely soured on him. I was a little taken aback that Cena came out with what he said so bluntly, Ambrose knew it was true and was caught off guard too, but it prompted him to respond. These promo's where the lines are so blurred between script and reality is what delivers a truly great feud and makes it such compelling TV to watch. It was a huge shame when they had Shane cut Ambrose off. I don't think fans are turning on him, but Philly is a smart crowd, they know that despite everything Cena portrays and his history, he's still a veteran and one of the most experienced WWE Superstars of all time, and Ambrose has somewhat failed to deliver.

I know you like Cena, but I don't. I'm really hoping this is one of those cement so and so as a main eventer type of putting over deals. Either Ambrose or AJ but preferably AJ. Cena doesn't need the number 16 at a random mid fall show.

Since the draft I've found Dean to be hard to understand the direction of his character is odd he seems to be mixing heel and face together and creative aren't helping with his opponents.
