I hate going to a park and seeing all these kids decked out in Curry Gear and saying he's the GOAT. It's sad that that's how everyone is nowadays. They cheer for their guy and when someone sees someone else they like everyone flocks to that guy who will get cheered forever and forced into a main event spot or the WWE will get these people saying that the company has no idea what they're doing. Then this leads to too many people in the main event spot. It really bothers me that one day it'll be "(Wrestlers name) should be world champ and if he isn't I'll stop watching!!" and then after a month of his title reign they say he's boring and throw him under the bus only to go to the next guy and repeat the process. It's sad but true that many fans are ruining wrestling. There is no doubt about it.

But at least the Heat were doing good for a few years. And the Panthers made it to the playoffs.

Fans are disloyal dick riders. One of the best examples of this I've ever seen is Ronda Rousey. She established herself as the most dominant female combat athlete in history, and one of (possibly THE, but I'd have to checked stats and also the concept of GOAT is a moot point with any sport) the most overall dominant MMA fighters in history man or woman. Lost her first fight by getting out-struck by one of the best female boxers of all time, and within hours there were articles up on major sports news outlets reading, "Time for Rousey to retire?" and "Ronda hype train derailed" Kek

For me it's because his character is so bleh. Every promo is the same
"I WILL GET MY HANDS ON YOU! I WILL DECIMATE YOU, I WILL EVISCERATE YOU I WILL NOT WAIT TO DESTROY YOU!"
So he waits until the scheduled match to not cause any problems for WWE Management. And like King Ross said on WTF Moments the other week he's supposed to be so unpredictable yet every match is the same, crapty rebound clothesline, topé suicida where he runs slowly, elbow drop onto a STANDING OPPONENT LOOK AT THIS LUNATIC MAGGLE! And Dirty Deeds suddenly. And seriously Ambrose called out Brock for being lazy? Has Dean never looked back at his matches?

I agree on the podcast, I feel like it did more to hurt his career than help him. I felt like he came across like he didn't want to be there, kind of entitled, which ironically is kind of how I feel his character has gone since becoming champion. It just seems to me like since the split happened that he's had an enormous ego about him, you can sense it in his promos. As far as the fans turning on him, I just feel like Cena had made the better point on Ambrose than Ambrose did on Cena. And you could sense by the crowd after Ambrose made his point, that they were kind of just like "eh, I see your point but he's got way more on you than you do on him." I agree that Ambrose (while still putting on decent matches) has become kind of complacent. He hasn't been that edgy character to me for a while now. Sure Cena will take time off, but he's been there for almost 15 years now, does he not deserve it? And in that sense, he's really only taken time off for injuries and one TV show so far. I don't feel like Ambrose has been around long enough for him to call out Cena for some half-assed comment like that. Im hoping this leads to an Ambrose heel turn, because let's be real it won't be Cena that turns heel. I feel like a proper heel turn is so necessary for an individual to be your top guy. Short of Mysterio, I can't think of anyone else who was World Champion who wasn't heel beforehand. Guys like Rock, Cena, Austin, and HBK all were kind of flopping around in their early days before a solid heel run led them to become the biggest guys in the company. I think right now thats what Ambrose needs. Well Austin was being an ignorant douch by asking Ambrose personal questions that had nothing to do with wrestling. If I didn't know better I would think that Austin was deliberately trying to make Ambrose look bad and lets to honest Austin is a smart man and he knows that if he says jump all his fans will do so. Fans have compared Ambrose to Austin and Austin probably resents that and made it his mission to destroy Ambrose once and for all. As for Cena the whole thing made no sense. Cena has been a glorified loser for 1 year and he comes out expecting a rematch over Ambrose who's first in line. Then Cena tears Ambrose apart for no pacific reason which made him look like a giant hypocrite. Bingo, nailed it right on the head. Ambrose had done nothing wrong his whole title reign, everything was golden til he got drafted to Smackdown. Getting off from a hot win against his former shield brothers to feud with......Dolph Ziggler? He needed a bigger fish to fry than that. Essentially Ambrose is getting sh*t on kayfabe wise for doing his job, and just cause he's had one boring feud, it labels him as "complacent". The attention span some of the fans have is pathetic lol.

Then Cena tears Ambrose apart for no pacific reason which made him look like a giant hypocrite. As much as I'm bored to tears with the part of Austins podcast where he asks people about their life before wrestling, we all know its part of his show. Ambrose should have as well, and if it would have been that much of a problem to talk about, then he should have said something to someone not to mention it, or just have him not do the podcast. As far as Cena, I'm not saying he deserves a title shot at the moment. But removing Kayfabe for a second, it makes sense for Smackdown to have them do the triple threat and drag out an Ambrose/Styles rematch until at least Survivor Series, instead of burning that feud out before it even gets going. Theres really no one at the moment for Styles to feud with after Ambrose other than Orton who has been consistently unable to compete. And Cena ripped into Ambrose for interrupting him, it happens all the time. Ambrose had all the right in the world to interrupt him, but is that supposed to mean that Cena just sits there and lets him do it? Aside from that I still laughed when Ambrose called out Cena for not beating Styles thus he couldn't beat Ambrose. He must have forgotten that he had just lost to Styles as well, if theres three guys in the ring and both of them have lost to the guy currently holding the belt, then the guy to beat in that scenario is not Dean Ambrose. So that comment made no sense either. You're forgetting that Styles had to kick Ambrose in the balls to take the title from him, but Styles beat Cena 1-2-3 dead center of the ring clean with no screwy finish. Two totally different scenarios.

Fans are disloyal dick riders. They never stand by their favorite wrestlers. Sad, but true. It even began to happen to Bryan after WM30. Granted, I think WWE does a far better job of booking the chase to the title than actually keeping them compelling after they win it - which is probably partially responsible for it. But unfortunately, a lot of today's fans are just bandwagon jumpers waiting for the next great thing.

Ambrose was a hype train that a lot of people jumped on. Once the train arrived and we saw that Ambrose wasn't a very good champion, I think reality kicked in. There is no doubt in my mind that the Austin podcast hurt Ambrose though.
Seth Rollins was always the guy in the Shield. He's the guy who wants it the most. This place turned on him too but he'll out last it the same way guys like Triple H and Cena have over the years.
Also, Ambrose was getting out popped by Styles during that feud as well. When a new shiny toy comes along for the internet to play with they turn their attention away from the old toy. I don't blame them. Ambrose is the big wheel to AJ Styles' pimped out Cadillac Power Wheel.

First off Austin has done alot of disckish stuff over the years, but he did nothing wrong on that podcast. But Ambrose looked like a complete @$$ on it. He knew what he was getting into when he agreed to do it and should have turned it down if he didn't want to answer personal questions about his past. Secondly I have said this since day one I wasn't really a fan of Ambrose and Seth would be the star of the three since the debut of the Shield. And nothing the three have done since then has changed my mind. (Although for me Roman has moved into the second spot) My main issues with Ambrose is his move set. That fallaway slingshot clothesline needs to go. It is horrible. And he needs someone to teach him how to throw beatdowns. Whenever he does them I either think catfight or I just roll my eyes because 90% of his kicks and punches you can see he is clearly pulling as he is catching nothing but air. I watch him and there isn't anything special about him. It isn't the "writing" or the writer's fault it is his shortcomings in the ring. And as the champion there's no way to hide them. Fans are disloyal dick riders. They never stand by their favorite wrestlers. Lol that's why 85% of people today are all the sudden Broncos and warriors fans Raiders fan my whole life. Well ever since the mid 70's when I played town football and we were the Roseland Raiders. We were very intimidating. Our uniforms were the silver and black just like the Oakland Raiders and our town Police cars had a giant red rose on the door. (That made the town look very tough! )

My turn.
Ambrose is an ass. He's way better as a heel. He was piss drunk at the last HOF, he was defensive at the pod cast, he has the most stupidest middle rope rebound move in the history of wrestling, and he's the most predictable unpredictable lunatic fringe. A great heel yes, typecast incorrectly as the babyface of the shield.
Cena is no different than when Flair returned to WCW after his stint in WWF and got his championship match against Vader at Starccade. Marquee players like those guys can go against the grain. The setup is absolutely right for this feud with the writing staff and they suck most of the time.
Ambrose as a heel is money. Ambrose as a babyface was absolutely odd.

At this point most of my favorites have passed, retired or released. But the guys still in the WWE I like are Triple H, Orton, Seth, Styles, Finn, Sami, Jericho (although I hate the trunks look) and Wyatt. And I do still enjoy the Big Show when he is on.
