Following a turbulent few days of contract renegotiations between Intercontinental Champion The Miz and SmackDown LIVE General Manager Daniel Bryan, it was announced on Monday that the two parties had finally reached an agreement, with both rumored to be considering it a win for their respective camps.
This news came as a surprise to Miz, and the Intercontinental Champion took to Facebook Live to vent his frustrations.
Will The Miz protest the Intercontinental Championship Match on SmackDown LIVE, and how will The A-Lister’s anger impact the relationship between he and Bryan moving forward?
Last week, SmackDown LIVE kicked off with the announcement that both John Cena and Dean Ambrose will challenge WWE World Champion AJ Styles in a Triple Threat Match at No Mercy. In response, the unstable Ambrose sent a strong message when he betrayed Cena and hit the Cenation Leader with Dirty Deeds following their tag team main event against Styles & The Miz. Fast forward seven days and brace yourself for war! John Cena will go one-on-one with Dean Ambrose, looking to show his opponent exactly why picked the wrong 15-time World Champion to mess with. Will he be able to handle the unpredictable The Lunatic Fringe? Will WWE World Champion AJ Styles be on hand to assert his own momentum en route to their No Mercy free-for-all?

I wonder if Ziggler will win the IC Title and then The Miz ends up going to Raw?? I hope not at least. Right now, The Miz is killing it on Smackdown and he's actually making the IC Title mean something again. That hasn't happened since 2012 when Cody Rhodes had it, and before that was in 2004 when Randy Orton had it.

Gonna be hard for SD Live to beat Rich Swann's theme alone.

Raw was very good tonight, hopefully SD can top my expectations! Very good? Please, literally the only thing good was the foley/Jericho segment, the cruiserweights, and the main event minus the ending. Other than that it was lackluster like usual

Are the days numbered for SmackDown Tag Team Champions Heath Slater & Rhyno?
Hey, facts are facts. Health Slater & Rhyno overcame nearly impossible odds at Backlash, surviving the SmackDown Tag Team Championship Tournament to become the inaugural titleholders, while earning Slater a SmackDown LIVE contract in the process. But is the fairytale almost over for “Beauty and The Man Beast”? After all, as The Ascensions showed us last week, threats are already beginning to come out of the woodwork. Certainly, in the center of a very turbulent tandem division stands The Usos, armed with a whole new ruthless attitude. Teams like The Hype Bros, The Vaudevillains and Breezango are capable of winning the big one on any given day. Plus, sooner or later, American Alpha will make their inevitable return and attempt to pick up where they left off before Jey & Jimmy Uso cheated them out of their tournament final several weeks ago.
So, while we’re not necessarily saying that Slater & Rhyno won’t hold on to the titles for long, we are hoping that at least a few of The One Man Band’s offspring are helping to pay the bills.
SmackDown LIVE, prepare yourself for total 'Bliss'
The infusion of the SmackDown Women’s Title has raised the temperature in Tuesday night’s Women’s division at a time when the level of competition was already scorching.
Now, SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch finds herself facing a whole new challenge. Last week, Alexa Bliss triumphed in a tough-as-nails Fatal-Five... In any event, it will be interesting to see if Becky can humble her with a good, old-fashioned Irish Lass Kicking.
How long can The Viper hold off Bray Wyatt?
Bray Wyatt tells us that if he’s after you, “Run!” Last week, however, the attempt by The Eater of Worlds and Erick Rowan to ambush Randy Orton resulted in The White Sheep running into the business end of an RKO.
If history tells us anything, The New Face of Fear is not easily deterred once he sets his eerie sights on his someone. With Wyatt’s return to Viperville inevitable, will Orton (and those various voices in his head) have enough cunning to turn back the darkness again and again?

Other than that it was lackluster like usual I thought the cruiser weights, Jericho, and the steel cage were all really good. Do I think SD can top raw? Yes, but raw put on its best show since the 1st week imo

He and AJ Styles could be the Smackdown version of Jericho and Owens for Raw.

So how is this going to work? No way Ziggler is winning tonight but if he loses his mind and destroys The Miz after he loses. Miz will come out looking like a face which is something we don't want. Hopefully Ziggler loses and he bumps into someone backstage and tears them apart. Possibly Heath Slater. I see Heath trying to cheer Ziggler up after his loss and say how to never give up just like he did and how he eventually got his contract causing Ziggler to just lose it. Attacking Heath at this point is instant heat
