Swann is amazing. Him and Cedric have impressed me immensely. My 2 favorite cruiserweight right now.

That Cruiser Weight match last night didn't impress me at all.
It felt like something we would have seen if AJ Styles vs. Seth Rollins would happen, only then it would be for the WWE Title and more people would have been interested in it.
I will stick with old WCW Nitro shows for Cruiser Weight matches. I don't know if it was the ring ropes being cable, or the ring being smaller by a bit, but it seemed those matches just clicked well and were entertaining.
I never got that impression in WWE when it came to the cruiser weights/light heavyweight division.

I loved this theme when I heard it at an NXT show I went to when I first saw Rich Swann. Him, Kendrick, and Metallik are my favorite cruiserweights.
Also "At Last" > "Glorious"

I never got that impression in WWE when it came to the cruiser weights/light heavyweight division. I would at least recommend giving some of the highly-appraised matches from the Cruiserweight Classic a try. Many of them were excellent wrestling matches by any definition, not just cruiserweights. With that being said, I agree with your general assessment that last night's match wasn't particularly impressive, though that's more an indictment on WWE than it is on the guys that were in the ring. They threw four guys out there, 3 of whom a large portion of the audience had likely never seen before, and hoped that they'd get over by doing some flips. It was shallow, and hollow, and exactly what I expected from a main-roster WWE Cruiserweight division. It was a flashy, streamlined, and derivative version of everything the CWC did so well throughout the summer. The fact that they couldn't even be bothered to introduce TJ Perkins, the inaugural Cruiserweight Champion, before his first title defense on Sunday, should tell you everything you need to know about how this will proceed. They're meant to be a gimmick to fill time on the excruciating three hour Raw. Guys like Rich Swann are going to be forced to get over on their theme music. Luckily for him, this one is great.

My only complaint is how much it loops. It's annoying.

It's like an infection! First thing is the foot starts tapping. Hips soon follow. Once the head starts bobbing, there's no stopping it. Next thing you know, it's a full fledged dance off in my living room. And I'm pretty sure my wife can't handle this.

So many good cruisers. TJP does no wrong, Swann is loads of fun, Broken Kendrick is highly entertaining, Cedric brings in something new every match and has unmatched passion...I'm disappointed these guys are kinda relegated to these matches and such because A TON of these guys have the capabilities to be stars in the heavyweight scene, but I'm optimistic because of the immense talent involved.

This sounds like the song at the end of an 80's teen movie.

They need to release his and Cedric's themes on iTunes.

I guess this is supposed to be an Uptown Funk style song? If so, i think they accomplished that. As far as Swann goes ,he impressed me more than Alexander on Monday.

Before the CWC, when Swann was just making the odd appearance on NXT, I didn't really understand what all the fuss was about, and why people thought he was so fantastic. I think I'm starting to see it now, though. He's genuinely charismatic and really fluid in the ring. Will he be a big star? No. But he's great to have on the show.
