I'm not jumping on the bandwagon 'cos Balor and Jericho tell me to. Never deserved a push or the title - and still doesn't. As average a performer as you'll see, he's only been involved with good matches, where he's been carried by superior talents. Granted, he may have had a better match with Styles than Ambrose, but that's to be expected, because Ambrose is trash in the ring. Even Reigns is better than him, which doesn't say much about Ambrose's ability.

Ive liked Reigns since day one, through it all. Its funny to see now people jumping on the band wagon as his push started to slow down. Proves that tons of people actually like Reigns, but because he isnt "their" guy, they bash it.

I still think if they had called an audible, and had Reigns win the 2014 Rumble instead of Batista, he would have become really hot.

I was always a fan and defended the man here. Funny to see everyone give him props now LOL. People legitly hated the man.... Anyways, I've always said this. The problem isn't exactly Reigns it's the the people in the back trying to make this man into Cena 2.0. You can't make another person a carbon copy of another. Otherwise, they'll always be in their shadow. That's what made guys like Rock, Austin etc they all had something different about them that stood out. I believe that Reigns doesn't even need to touch a mic, he just needs to deliver, kick ass in the ring and leave. Think of Lesnar, but in a different way. When he's on the mic he comes off as a try hard, but the idiots in the back don't notice it. They've had chances to also pull the trigger as a heel too.

Didn't you hear the fans when Roman and Batista were the final 2? Daniel Bryan didn't enter so they choose Roman to win instead. Didn't you hear fans boo Rey Mysterio out of the building because he came out at #30 and wasn't Daniel Bryan? There's no way you can tell me that the fans were behind Roman at all that night, or that time surrounding Daniel Bryan in 2013-14. On the Internet around that time Reigns was hot and people were grooming him as the breakout star of the Shield. As for Rey well people only booed him because he wasn't Daniel Bryan just like they crapped over the entire match after he came out. The crowd resented Batista aswell because it was obvious that he was going to win but why cheer Reigns when it was down to them because if people disliked Reigns aswell why didn't they hijack the match and boo both him and Batista?

On the Internet around that time Reigns was hot and people were grooming him as the breakout star of the Shield. The crowd resented Batista aswell because it was obvious that he was going to win but why cheer Reigns when it was down to them because if people disliked Reigns aswell why didn't they hijack the match and boo both him and Batista? Following Roman eliminating Sheamus to become one of the final two with Batista, this is what happened...they cheered Roman when it was down to him & Batista and they would trade blows. Each hit Batista threw got a boo, each hit Roman threw got a cheer. Replace Roman with anyone else on the roster the crowd would have done the same thing. They were doing it to show their disapproval of Batista going to win. Then they cheered his name because he wasn't Batista, but seriously the crowd would have chanted R-Truth if he was one of the two finalists. Batista then gives Roman a spear which he took horribly. Then Roman gives Batista a spear and the crowd cheered that, but then Roman bulks up and gets the crowd going to a luke warm reception. Then Batista throws Roman over the top, the initial reaction is a cheer followed by boos. None of that sounds like they were behind him in any way as a crowd favorite, but just because he was choice B. The crowd was very put off after no Dan Bryan and once Rey came out they were just showing their disapproval by knowing that Batista was going to win. This had zero to do with Roman, like I said put R-Truth there and he would have received the same fanfare. Royal Rumble 2014 was entirely about Daniel Bryan and WWE beginning their shoehorning of Roman into a place he didn't & doesn't fit into.

It's not too late to fix the Reigns experiment, but the longer WWE digs in their heels and remains adamant that fans will accept him whether they like it or not the more damaged he will become. He has potential, but using the right guy in the wrong role can be as damaging as any injury.

I thought it was so stupid on Raw when Foley asked how anyone could boo Reigns

I thought it was so stupid on Raw when Foley asked how anyone could boo Reigns In Foley's defense he did take a large number of chair shots to the head in his career.

I guess my real problem with the Cena/Reigns issue is a face is supposed to be universally loved. The idea that the fans crap on them to be cool or counter culture is just a lazy excuse. The last time a booker decided the concept of heels and faces was dead Raven walked into ECW for the first time and threw Heyman for a loop. If the WWE can not build a heel that is booed and a face that is cheered then they need to go back to the drawing board and come up with something more with the times.
