already did last year, don't regret it at all. Only kept a handful, only one on display is a Big E with both world titles

if i sold anything it would be for lack of funds, and my Hot Toy's would go before the WWE stuff

Paint doesn't not bother me, I just pick through and buy a decent one as we never really struggle over here for the new figs. The price point doesn't bother me either, not being funny but if I saw a £20 note fluttering down the road I wouldn't chase it, £20 is nothing these days, I went in five guys the other day with my Mrs and it was £40! For burger and fries and a drink! If I had Smyths I would feel the same I bet. Seeing pics of those shelves being full like that is overwhelming!

I want to sell my collection. But I don't want to go through the hassle of selling bits and pieces. I wish I could sell the whole thing.
Hmmm.

As my collection grows bigger and bigger into the multiple thousands I do... I have down sized many times too, selling lots of figures. It's so tough what to keep or sell and sometimes when I've sold it haunts me a bit.

not everything. But once in awhile i look over at the shelf, and see something like Elite 5 Mark Henry....and wonder why i own that.
if i had to get rid of some figs....a lot of the first 14 elite series would get the boot

I never get the urge to sell it all but I sometimes feel like quiting the collecting game and packing up my wrestlers but it's a good job I don't as I'll regret it.

I sell what I want, but I can't justify selling much in today's WWE Mattel secondary market. I'd rather keep all I have in tubs or have a few displayed. In all honesty, I've just been more selective on new stuff and wait for PRIME opportunity deals.

I was talking to my girlfriend the other day about this. I have been collecting mattel since around 2012 and I've got a pretty good collection I'd say. Over 150 elites and some good exclusives etc even tho I live in the UK.
I opened all of my figures up until around 3 months ago when I thought to myself why am I even buying these. I don't display them and I don't play with them. I just like to look at them now and again and my younger brother likes to play with them at times but that's about it. So for the past maybe 30 figures I've bought I've kept MOC. But I don't really know what to do with the others.
There's so many figures I wish I hadn't bought lol (Brodus clay, Jack swagger etc) just guys whos figures aren't particularly good and now looking back i think why did I spend £18 each on them? I dunno what it is that attracts me to collecting I can't really explain. I look forward to having th3 figure then it sits in a box doing nothing.
I've had thoughts of selling my stuff (not all of it) but I think I'd regret it later. Anyway I just thought I'd share with you my thoughts. I think from now on I'm gonna only buy the guys I really really want and that I think won't be 10 a penny in future. I'm tempted to hold off on an AJ because I have no doubt he will be made every 3rd wave like Cena elites.

I started to sell all MOC Basics and Elites where I had a loose figure.
I simply ran out of space. I think i got up to about 4000. Something had to gove.
I thought I may as well take advantage while prices are at silly levels. Rather than sell my Classic Superstars for bad prices or my other bits.
Going to check out a toyfair tonight see if its worth going there but I get a feeling its more trains and cars.
Ive been so pleased how its gone that I may sell the rarer stuff now.

I don't have a lot of figures anymore, mainly just older elites and current guys. I couldn't sell everything I have because a lot of it is early elites and gems. Like SES Punk, it took a lot of figures to get that in a trade so I couldn't just go off and sell it. I have a few basics which I'd like to get rid of but that's another story for another day.

All the freaking time. Sometimes I wonder what it would be like not to collect. I'm trying to downsize my collecting now to just the few guys I enjoy now, WCW and WWF guys. I had this problem where I noticed that I wanted to sort of be a completionist and I was buying figures of guys I didn't even like, but now realizing it I'm glad I couldn't get them all. I do however, regret all my Jakks purchases. I have so many of them and it's hard to sell them now.

I'm to the point to where I could sell about 75% of my collection. There's definitely some that I would never think to get rid of.

I just did the same thing as I was organizing and bagging up my loose ones. Have about 350 figures but I know I will regret selling them so I will never do it.

I am in that predicament myself. Baby on the way and no time to go shopping for hours and hours. I would like to downsize my Wrestle figs at least but don't even know how to go about it really. Even before my gf being pregnant I'd get into these funks where I regretted collecting and questioned why I spent so much money. It happens to the best of us. One thing though if you're collecting and you don't play or display then there is absolutely no reason to buy anything. That would strictly just be impulse buying and basically boarderline hoarding.

I do from time to time. Honestly I plan on selling most of my "toys" if there ever comes a time where I get married and have kids.
