Thing is Mattel doesn't want to shell out the $$$ to sign individual contracts. The same applies as to why we can't get the WCW us belt etc. Thats not it at all. They cant get individual licensing for the wwe line. Mdt said they have to be signed to a legends or merchandising deal. Nothing to do with mattel being "cheap"

He hasn't done anything to deserve a figure. Just buy a Sandow figure. It's pretty much the same thing.

First off, a Sandow fig isn't even close to what Dillinger looks like. My second point is a question: What has Apollo Crews done to get a fig? Tyler Breeze? Not much for both, and Dillinger out popped each of them consistently. Yeah, Crews debut was huge, and Breeze has had moments. But Tye consistently has the crowds support. To each his own, though.

Every wrestler done by Mattel either was a contracted performer or on a legend merch deal. Mattel never signed anyone or made without those quals.

They said they weren't signing anymore people independently around 2012, so they did at some point

We dont know their contract with wwe, so there might be stipulations. Obviously the only person they had any deal with was warrior.

No worries man! I love wrestling and when I see Dillinger, I only see a guy with a very low ceiling. He works really well with other guys and can carry himself well, but I just feel like he's a permanent enhancement guy. I guess my biggest point is upside in WWE. Even though Vince kinda failed in both guys you mentioned, they still have a better long term chance than Dillinger. That NXT crowd really screws people over in the long run... Anyway. I think there's no major appeal to a Dillinger figure to the entire figure market.
