Even if you dont want to sell do you ever get curious to see how much you collection is worth? And if you do keep track how do you find the value of the figures? This is the fifth thread you've made in regards to collecting and money, what's your end game? Don't worry what others think and don't get advice from others around here on how you should spend your money. Collect because you enjoy it and its what you want to spend your money on. This is not the hobby to collect for financial investing.

Of course, and it's hard to believe all of the 'nope' answers on here Why? Because who spends all the money that people on here spend on figures and doesn't keep up with what they might be worth (or not worth). Just IMO it's hard to believe.

People who buy it because they like it. I buy my Legends/FB for he memories they bring back of watching wrestling with my father. Any other wrestling figure I buy is because I like he wrestler. Any other lines I collect Batman/DC, Marvel, Star Wars, Star Trek, etc I buy because of the memories of my childhood. Why would I care what someone would pay for my figures? I am not ever going to sell them I'm a collector which means I collect so once I buy something it is here for life unless I give it away. I don't sell anything.

I've got hundreds of WWE Mattel figures, i've no interest in knowing how much they are worth in total, probably close to a thousand figs with my son's collection too.
More importantly though I don't want my missus knowing how much they are worth either!
I won't sell them they will all be given to my son at some point.

That's awesome for you that if you buy something then it's 'for life' but that's kind of on the extreme end of the spectrum. I'm sure there were a lot of Jakks collectors that said things like that. And now wish they would've unloaded that stuff. When Hasbro or whoever else takes the WWE license the collection is priceless and why would anybody look at secondary prices nonsense will end

On a side note there are so many CS I wish Mattel would make.

It's very easy to do. You will have some figures worth 60-80 u.s, many worth 10-20, more worth 30.. I would just average the whole collection at 40-45 per figure
Take the amount you have and multiply it by 40-45 and that's what your collection is worth on eBay right now if you sold them one at a time

I see what everyone is saying by their collection being "worthless" or only valuable to them but as to answer the op's question
Yes i do all the time. I love collecting and dont plan on reselling anytime soon. However, i plan on having a family one day so things may change therefore, i have thought about the value of my collection as i collect. For the most part i have many common figures that most people have in their collection unless they missed out for some reason. I have limited figures that would be considered hard to find so id place the value of my collection at what i paid for it or slightly less which would place it in the $2000 range maybe a little more or less
I have roughly 100 elite figures, asr ring, cage, entrance stage, backstage brawl set and other various accessories
