Note: Been a long time since I have done a legit diary. So keep in mind, that it's going to be rough starting for me. I've gotten the first few ppvs mapped out, and a basic outline of all the Smackdown's until Survivor Series. I'm halfway through writing the No Mercy results right now. I can't guarantee long match results all the time. PPVS I will try, some matches will be longer than others, it all depends on how much I can visualize and type out. The Smackdown shows will be pretty quick results, as those are the parts of the diaries I hate, is the weekly stuff. I actually considered just doing the PPV write ups with brief explanations of the build to each match. May eventually go to that, but going to try the entire thing to start. 2006-2010 was pretty much my main active time, so most of you probably don't know me. I do have one diary in the HOF. Also as a note I will try my best with the women. I've never felt comfortable booking the women, I just don't think I'm good with it, so typically I've just conveniently forgotten that they exist. Going to try doing them here, so again, some new territory. Also note there are a couple minor changes to what happened at Backlash I added, which you can see in one of the match previews, main one is how the tag title final ended. So let's do this.

Trades:
After Cesaro began his best of 7 series on RAW by losing the first three matches, Stephanie McMahon decided to cut her losses, trading him to Smackdown live for the impressive young talent Apollo Crews and the returning veteran Curt Hawkins, doing so over the head of GM Mick Foley, who protested the trade. THe only caveat was that Cesaro needed to finish the series against Sheamus first. He would go on to tie the series, and then win the deciding match at the first RAW exclusive PPV, Clash of Champions. Cesaro comes to RAW with momentum on his side, hoping to make an impact.
In response to this, to possibly take a shot back at Stephanie, Foley would orchestrate a second trade, this time moving Sin Cara to Smackdown for someone Stephanie has bad history with. Dolph Ziggler. Claiming that despite his recent misfortune, Foley believed that the former World Champion had a lot left to offer, and that while having Sin Cara around for the beginning of the Cruiserweight Division would be nice, his repeated losses to Braun Strowman hurt his percieved value, and that he would rather start off with fresh cruiserweights. Only time will tell which brand came out on top in the trades.

WWE World Championship
AJ Styles (c) vs. John Cena vs. Dean Ambrose
In what should be an awesome main event, "The Champ That Runs the Camp", AJ Styles will have to prove his worth in a triple threat match against the man he defeated to become champion, as well as the most decorated superstar of the modern era. Over the lead up to the match, Styles has mentioned numerous times that he has beaten both men, but he hasn't beaten both at the same time. And entering a situation where he doesn't even have to be beaten to lose his championship, will the task prove to be too much? Dean Ambrose is gunning for Styles, who used cheap tactics to take his championship away, and John Cena looks to not only tie Flair's record for championship reigns, but redeem himself by defeating Styles, after losing to him twice. Something has got to give.
Intercontinental Championship
The Miz (c) w/ Maryse vs. Kane
The Miz continues to get under Smackdown Live General Manager Daniel Bryan's skin, getting by Dolph Ziggler and cementing himself as Smackdown's longest reigning title holder. But his incessant insults thrown at the GM prove that maybe you shouldn't poke the bear, as Bryan named Kane as the number one contender for Miz's title, citing his victory over Bray Wyatt at Backlash as impressive enough to earn it. So Bryan puts Miz against his former tag team partner and one of the most vicious, destructive forces in WWE history. Will The Miz find a way past the Big Red Machine, or will Kane show that he still has some fight left in him?
Smackdown Tag Team Championship
Heath Slater & Rhyno (c) vs. The Ascension
This is no joke. The Ascension are challenging for the titles, and they are looking the best they ever have. Seemingly fed up with how things have been going for them since graduating from NXT, they demanded a chance to show what they were capable of. Daniel Bryan put them in a tag team turmoil match as the first entrants, starting off against The Usos. American Alpha would interfere, costing the Usos the match, but The Ascension would go on to eliminate The Hype Bros, The Vaudvillains and Breezango without any assistance, showcasing a dominance not seen in a long time. Impressed, Bryan granted them a title match. Sickened at a team they percieve as a joke holding the championships, The Ascension look to crush the unlikely duo of Heath Slater and Rhyno. For their part, Slater and Rhyno seem unconcerned, saying that they are the champions for a reason, and that like they had since they formed, they would find a way to win.
Smackdown Women's Championship
Becky Lynch (c) vs. Alexa Bliss
Alexa Bliss won a fatal fiveway to gain her spot as the top contender for Becky's Championship. Leading to the match, she appeared to have Becky frustrated, having pinned her in a tag team match, as well as defeating Naomi on the final Smackdown before No Mercy. Becky tried to get some momentum, but also on the final show before the PPV, Alexa distracted her in her match against Natalya, allowing Natalya to roll her up for a victory. Is Alexa in the champions head enough to be able to take her title, or will Becky once again prove why she was Smackdown's first female draft pick?
Randy Orton vs. Bray Wyatt
The feud between these two has been going for a while, with the two being scheduled to face off at Backlash. But with Randy Orton being attacked by Bray Wyatt before the match and not being medically cleared to compete, Wyatt struck the first blow. Orton got him back the same night, hitting an RKO to cost him his match against Kane. The two have verbally spared week after week, with Orton fending off constant attacks from Wyatt's henchman Erick Rowan, but the time is now. At No Mercy, the Legend Killer goes one on one with the Face of Fear. To add a more interesting touch, Erick Rowan is banned from ringside as per General Manager Daniel Bryan. Will the lack of interference allow Orton to strike cleanly, or will Wyatt show the world what he is made of, and put down the Viper?
American Alpha vs. The Usos
After The Usos injured Jason Jordan by viciously attacking his knee, and taking them out of the tag team title tournament, they thought they had gotten the inside track on becoming the first champions, defeating the Hype Bros and then going on to face Rhyno and Heath Slater in the final at Backlash. But American Alpha had other ideas, as during Usos vs. Slater/Rhyno, when the referee got taken out, American Alpha rushed the ring, taking out The Usos enough for Rhyno to capitalize with a Gore, winning the titles. Getting themselves even, American Alpha was happy, but The Usos demanded a match with them at No Mercy. Jason Jordan was told that his knee was still hurt, and while he would technically be medically cleared to compete, that the doctors told him that he would be wise to wait a few weeks. But The Usos would attacked Gable in the parking lot, causing American Alpha to run in on them during a tag team turmoil match, costing them the match. The match was signed offical. These two teams have a lot of bad blood between them, and want to get their hands on each other. This is sure to be a fight. American Alpha will be tested like never before, and the Usos have something to prove after their embarrassing loss to Alpha in the Tag Team Title tournament.
Baron Corbin vs. Jack Swagger
Corbin was having fun brutalizing some of the Smackdown Live Superstars, attacking them after the bell, and leaving a path of destruction in his wake. But when Jack Swagger jumped ship to Smackdown, he went right for Corbin, looking to teach the newcomer a lesson. What will happen when these two clash?
The Smackdown Live debut of Cesaro!
Pre-Show Matches:
Nikki Bella vs. Carmella
These two have been going at it since they were drafted, as Carmella appears to want to make a name for herself by taking out the longest reigning Divas Champion of all time. Nikki has been unable to get her hands on Carmella in a one on one scenario. Finally she gets her chance.
Lucha Dragons vs. The Vaudvillains
When Sin Cara was traded to Smackdown him and Kalisto immediately reunited, and mentioned they were looking to get a chance to become tag team champions. They made a point in saying they would take on all comers, and they were challenged by The Vaudvillains. The pre show for No Mercy will be a proving ground, in a match that could have huge implications for the future of the tag team division.
