No reveal, Edwards loses again to push a mediocre former WWE talent... sounds like another failed attempt at a "BIG" show from TNA. Nothing new. Cody/Bennett will be a good program. Just too soon to go to the already, though. THAT should've been saved for a Pay-Per-View match. I've been hearing that Cody is only gonna be there for BFG and the TV taping though. So it'll probably be blown off on Impact. Also I don't get why everyone was expecting a big reveal, I don't think anyone made purchase they just provided the funding necessary funding to allow the show to go forward. Talks are expected to continue on Monday as to who's actually going to buy the company. So nothing that people should have expected a big reveal for. If you got your hopes up for it that's on you. the thing is....all the best classic WCW ppl didn't come to WWE. but WWE has all the big TNA guys in WWE already. They just need the angle. they already have Aries, AJ, Samoa Joe, Eric Young and Bobby Roode. just have R-Truth...James Storm ....and u got something The thing is that for all that, WWE actually acknowledged WCW as competition. There was never a single point in time where WWE considered TNA to be a threat. So an invasion would never happen because for it to work, Vince would have to treat them as a threat. I also don't necessarily see the shows going up on the Network if they bought it at least not right away. It would probably rank under Velocity on the list of priorities for the WWE to get on the Network. I believe Dixie tweeted yesterday they were going to reveal the "secret benefactor" on the show, so that's why people were expecting something. Maybe she meant Impact. Hard to say with that one.

Unless she deleted the tweet, she did not tweet anything of the sort. I don't recall it seeing reported anywhere that she tweeted anything about it either. I could be crazy and just missed it though, that's been known to happen The only thing I recall is some people on Reddit saying that they were looking forward to BFG because there was the possibility they would announce a new benefactor but I never saw anyone in the company really hype it as being part of the show.

First TNA show I have actually watched in years. Meh. Wasn't awful, not too great either
I cannot stand the Broken Matt thing, I pretty much skipped the tag match I found it so stupid and tacky

I could swear that she said something about revealing the benefactor on the show yesterday, possibly on Wreddit. Perhaps I've been using my illusion too much. I dunno. Either way, I'm just glad they're still alive.

They may not be competition but they've been building themselves back up to being an alternative to the WWE and the more alternatives the better in my estimation.

Bound For Glory was pretty good for what they had to work with.
Match of the night was Aron Rex vs. Eddie Edwards.
Broken Matt and Brother Nero are so damn entertaining now. They come off hokey, but hell, that is what wrestling is meant to be.
I really thought EC3 would get the win tonight, but it looks like TNA is gonna run with Lashley being the man there for a while longer.
Cody and Brandi Rhodes vs. Mike and Maria Bennett could make for some entertaining singles and mix tag matches.

Literally the only benefit to them dying is easier, cheaper access to the video library - possibly. Aside from that, it just takes away a lot of jobs, and an outlet for guys that were overlooked by WWE. Plus, for as much as people say they're not competition to WWE - which they definitely aren't - it's pretty clear WWE still pays attention to them, or they wouldn't have been doing a cheap knock-off of The Final Deletion a few days after it aired. It's good to have a televised alternative, no matter how big they are.

First TNA PPV I've watched in a very very long time. The Great War was the highlight of the show was weird and funny as hell.

I figured it was taped when Weird Jeffery (I guess?) turned into Willow quick The persona is called Itchweeed, he used this character a lot in old 'The Hardy Show' episodes. It was a bit weird seeing the trasformation so fast, it would have been better if they cut the camera to Matt and Abyss and when they cut back to Jeff/Steve he is transformed to Willow, instead of having him open the umbrella in the middle of the 'match'. What was nice though was that he turned back to Jeff while under the ring.

Thought the show was really good. Loved the Cody and Miracle showdown. That was probably my favorite part. That or the Hardyz entrance. Miracle's cutter counter on Moose was great and the TOF on the chair was fantastic. Tag match was my favorite. All kinds of cheesy awesome moments and the ladder was a great way to end the match and put them over. Crowd delivered for them too. I wasn't a huge fan of EE vs Rex. EE obviously wasn't in the cards because he was a stand-in. Galloway and Rex had a fairly solid build and the match just felt empty to me without Galloway. Not that it was a bad match in terms of technical wrestling, but it just wasn't the match I thought it should have been, to no one's fault. The end to the X match was great. Good match all around really, but the Canadian Destroyer into the ZDT was nice. E. Li. Drake. was the right guy to win the battle royal. I like Grado comedy too but come on now. The Spud clothesline spot was ing hilarious haha. Drake has grown on me, largely from that James Storm feud. I get him now and I'm onboard with where they could go with him. The Gail Kim stuff was what it was. I'm not a fan of the TNA HOF really being a thing at this point. It's just awkward, and I say that as someone who thinks everyone they've put in is incredibly deserving. The pay off to her finally getting over on Maria was good, but I think the Allie stuff stole quite a bit of Gail's thunder as a babyface. Still though, everything was good. There wasn't a bad match or anything that left me feeling truly disappointed. I really thought EC3 was going to win but the spear off the top rope was a nice finish. I guess you can't fault them for wanting to push babyface Moose, and his high school football team, to the moon against Lashley. EC3 is already there. So Moose winning allows him to take that next step. That's my guess anyway.
