Personally, I wouldn't mind anything Bell does off the field as long as he doesn't get himself suspended, shows up in time for the regular season, and keeps putting up ridonkulous numbers on the field. Till he goes to another team next season because he won't sign a third tag, and the Steelers ain't paying him 20m a season. tbh it wouldn’t surprise me to see Bell in a Browns uniform if he doesn’t re-sign with Pittsburgh. I could see a big 1-2 year deal and maybe a contract extension after that if they’re successful and try to find a new coach. Then again, this is the Browns so they’ll keep Hue Jackson as HC and continue to be garbage for years to come.

Im not sold on the Lambs just yet. They're getting a first place schedule this year plus you cant sleep on rivals 49ers & Seahawks. I wont be surprised if the Lambs lose 3/4 of those games plus they have Packers, Chiefs, Eagles & Saints on the schedule. 10-5 is a solid record but its a record that 3 teams in that conference could have. There's always the team(s) that everyone picks to be SB contenders who flop. I'm not saying it's going to be the Rams but it wouldn't surprise me. The NFL is whacky.

Then again, this is the Browns so they’ll keep Hue Jackson as HC and continue to be garbage for years to come. I mean, Bell is a once in a generation back. I'll give him that any day of the week. But even guys like Emmitt Smith and Barry Sanders, while once in a generation, had a competent offensive line to give him space. You could have the lightest feet and the sharpest cuts in history, but if the defense's front seven are in your backfield and your OLinemen are dead on the ground the second your QB snaps the ball...you are toast. And that's Cleveland in a nutshell. Their D has always been respectable. Every team gets blown out once in a blue moon but it's not like they're losing 45-7 games every week. Their D doesn't win them games, but it keeps them in the games. The lack of a steady QB because they continuously get killed because they won't build an offensive line is why Cleveland blows. Proof: 2007, the Browns line was bottom five in the league, Quinn was murdered, 3-13 record. 2008, Browns signed WR/TE and drafted linemen, they were one I'll advised pass from Derek Anderson in week 14(?) in the red zone that Polamalu intercepted from missing the playoffs. 2009, they couldn't keep a line healthy and sucked. 2010, the entire line from the 2008 shoulda-been-a-playoff-team Browns was gone minus the center and one backup. And here we are eight years later, still not learning their lesson. It's a shame. Cleveland's fans are the most loyal in sports. The Browns, Indians, and Cavs have sucked forever. Now it's paying off because the Cavs are good again, and the Indians are perennial AL favorites. Browns just haven't adapted. And it's really amazing. The Browns play the Steelers and Ravens twice a year. Two of the top ten defenses every year forever, twice. You'd THINK they'd patch up their weakness at line before going for a billionth QB, if for no other reason than to remain in the Wild Card hunt since the Steelers are always a 11+ win team, and when they're off one season then Baltimore is on (no homer, just a fact). But nope. The AFC is evolving. The Steelers get the Jesse James call, the Pats lose home field for only like, the fourth time in 15 years. Buffalo is a playoff contender. Jacksonville rules the South. No one team rules the West any longer (unless Carr comes back with a vengeance). The Colts, Chargers, and Bengals are no longer relevant threats. In the next couple of years, the Steelers and Ravens are gonna have to go into rebuilding mode. We're slightly younger, and a lot younger than we were even five years ago, but our OLine is getting old. That's not good for Ben's health, or Rudolph's. Same with the Ravens for Flacco and Jackson. If they want to be competitive, THIS IS THE TIME TO BUILD. Draft, let them play, let Mayfield learn under some expendable journeyman like a TJ Yates type, get an OC and KEEP them. Keep doing what you're doing on D, and guess what? You've got yourself a playoff team in two to three years when the Steelers and Ravens fill up the geriatric ward of Retired NFLrs. But they're too damn dumb to do anything. Frankly, and as a Steelers fan this hurts but it's the truth...you want Cleveland to be competitive? Play this season out, fire Jackson, and give Bill Cowher a blank check as head coach. Dude's got roots there, he played his career there and he took a HOT GARBAGE 1989-1992 Chuck Noll Steelers team, absolutely cleaned house, and had them in the Super Bowl two years later under the second biggest game manager QB (Neil O'Donnell) to start in the Super Bowl. Biggest being Trent Dilfer, obviously. But what do I know? I'm a Steelers fan. I know nothing about football and only see success so have no idea how to fix a broken team. Clearly I don't pay attention to any other team/the NFL other than mah boys.

So the 49ers are set to announce new alternate/color rush uniforms for this year...we're finally getting rid of the garbage black jerseys that look like Chinese knockoffs. Rumors are they're throwbacks to the 94 season (which was a throwback to the 55 season)....We also went 15-1 in those unis with the lone loss being the last game of the season against the Vikings while we sat all our starters. 5-0 Jimmy GQ wearing 15-1 throwback jerseys... the Lambs...we're getting #6!

I liked those black jerseys. Then again I’m not a Niners fan so if it’s against tradition it doesn’t bother me in that sense.

The 49ers black uniform would probably suck regardless, but the clash of having a gold helmet and no other gold (sans the swoosh) is what really makes it a mess.

There were "concepts" done that had Gold trim that looked a lot better. I just dont understand who thought a legit practice jersey would be a good idea for a uniform.

A good offensive line can make a crappy QB look average and an average one look good (see Dak Prescott). Offensive lineman is the most underrated position in football. The NFL is going to change a lot in the next few years. New teams and new stars are becoming the best in the league and stars of the past 15-20 years are aging and retiring. Peyton Manning is done, Brady and Roethlisberger are aging and will be done in the next 5 years, and younger stars like Carson Wentz, Jimmy Garoppolo, Deshaun Watson, and Marcus Mariota are taking their place. New England will be a 6-10 team as soon as Brady and Belichick are gone. The Ravens and Steelers are smart for taking QBs now to build on for later. Cleveland definitely needs a new coach. To put this much faith in a 1-31 coach is just plain stupid. He’s shown he doesn’t have what it takes to be a head coach in the NFL. The Browns have been consistently bad to a point where it’s hard to lose so much without purposely trying to. Their number 1 priority should be a new coach. Whether that’s Bill Cowher or someone else, they need a guy who can do the same thing Doug Pederson did with the Eagles. In 2 years Philly went from a 4-12 team to Super Bowl Champions. Cleveland’s management needs to step up and start taking their damn team seriously. Their fans deserve better.

The drama between him, Brady, and Kraft is eventually gonna make one of them leave. Kraft won't sell, and I'm convinced Brady will play till he's close to 50 if he doesn't get hurt, so the odd man out is Belichek since Brady is the Head Coach and Offensive Coordinator anyways. When his contract is up next year, Cleveland should have a serious talk with him to come back. I think Cowher would be better because Belichek knows how to draft but he's never, ever had to clear house because he inherited a good NE team and never looked back. Cowher cleaned house in 1993 and went to the Super Bowl, had a couple of years after that, then cleared house after bringing in Maddox to replace Slash, knowing we'd get a couple mediocre seasons where we'd be in the running but weren't quite ready yet, and get good draft picks, with the rest of the picks going to the offensive line. Those wound up being Troy Polamalu, Ben Roethlisberger, Heath Miller, Joey Porter, William Gay, Aaron Smith, Casey Hampton, James Farrior, Mike Logan, Ryan Clark, Lawrence Timmons, Jeff Reed, Hines Ward, and brought in some guys named James Harrison and Willie Parker. Sure we had duds like Staley, St. Pierre and I THINK Limas Sweed was a Cowher pick. All of this, however, while having one of the greatest RBs in history in Bettis, who again thrived because of a good line even if Slash sucked more often than he was good. With Bettis not counting, four for sure are Hall of Famers, maybe five because Gay is quietly one of the best interception/pick six guys in the last 15 years. He just got overshadowed by Polamalu, Reed, Barber and Woodson in his early years which...I mean...understandable. I dunno. Again. Maybe I'm crazy. Cleveland is a rival. I shouldn't root them on. But the fans are so loyal, and they're actually classy to Steelers fans when we're there and we reciprocate when they're here. They don't cheer when Ben doesn't get up. They don't cheer when bad injuries happen like Shazier, unlike classless Bengals fans who did. Correct me if I'm wrong. This back and forth has been fun.

Cleveland could definitely convince Belichick to come back on the right terms. I think there’s a lot more bad blood stemming from the Garoppolo trade then is being let on, and Belichick and Kraft have never really seen eye to eye, even going back to 2001. In Belichick’s first stint in Cleveland, he was improving the team behind the scenes, even if it didn’t immediately show up on the field. After all, just a couple years after they moved to Baltimore, a Ravens organization mainly made up of guys brought in by Bill Belichick won a Super Bowl. Coincidence? It’s not wrong to root for your rivals when your rivals are the Browns. They haven’t been able to even compete with the Steelers since they came back in 99. As you said, their fans are classy too, at least more than Bengals fans. Cheering especially when it’s an injury like Shazier is disgusting. You have to respect how loyal Cleveland has been to it’s team despite disappointment after disappointment every single draft and every single season. At this point it almost feels bad NOT to root for the Browns.

Nah. Belichick isn’t going anywhere. If he would of become a new HC, he would of worked a deal with the NYG in Jan. As he’s really good friends with the Mara’s. Obviously you guys don’t remember all the headlines that our locker room was cancer in 03, 04, 09. And yet 2 of those years we went on to win the SB. Do I think Belichick is pissed cause he had to trade Jimmy GQ? Yeah we had Brady’s successor. Like GB had Farve to Rodgers.. Do I think Brady’s pissed that Bill didn’t play Butler in SB52, yeah cause if he would of played just the second half we would of won that game. At the end of the day Bill has done a lot of crazy moves and 95% of the time they work, weather it be getting rid of a SB MVP, letting go numorus key players, kicking against the wind, purposely takeing a safety etc. .... ESPN eats it up as you guys buy it.

To say the Patriots definitely would have won if Butler started is really slighting the Eagles finally winning a championship and the way they did it.
Just my two cents.

Definately is a strong thing to say. But I think he is at least 1 play better than that other scrub. And in a close game, it only takes 1 play. Having the same debate about igoudola in NBA playoffs.
